The race for 86 points

Probably been mentioned before but our last six games are tough! Man U and Arse at home, Leicester, Palace, Spammers and Hull away.

Whilst I'm very confident of Top 4, I'd really like us to finish second. At least we have a good buffer at the moment with the teams below us. Play to our potential these remaining games and we'll breeze second with a very long outside shot of the title depending on Chelsea results.

If we do finish 4th, not looking forward the rival fan/media backlash of how we've 'bottled it' again, even if we were just beaten a few times by the better team on the day.

But anyway, we're gonna win the league so it doesn't matter ;)
 
Watched that dross Sunday supplement. Why don't journos ever use their brains?

They were a shambles, instead of complimenting spurs and Poch on our success they kept harping on about us being a selling club and that Poch keeps angling for a move.

Selling club or just doing what is best for the club when a player becomes poison? All players that have left spurs have been sold on a massive premium. Recently we have stood up and refused to sell to direct rivals.

Poch looking to leave? He could have gone already if he wanted to and there is nothing that has come out from his mouth or spurs that suggests that he unsettled or unhappy. If anything he just keeps talking about doing a fergie and building something amazing with us.

Rival fans can sing for it as far as I'm concerned

When the spammers piped up last season I just pointed at Leicester and said their now bigger than you ... they had no answer

For the goons I just highlighted they beat Leicester to go top and then droord away showing no bottle

There is always a response that shuts em up

This is my only worry.

With the run-ins that City and Liverpool have, we could quite feasibly get 78pts which would be an amazing total most seasons, and still finish 4th
 
5 wins and a draw to be fair.Not beyond them at all, and as I type they go 1-0 up at WBA

Palace,Soton and Boro at home. Possibly and probably 3 home wins

After today WHU away (who will kindly bend over) and Watford away.

I know Southampton won there in the LC but I dont see them snatching anything in the league encounter. Might well drop pts at Vicarage Road, but I see nowhere else

Then again, Chelski have only lost two and drawn two games since September (!), so they're extremely solid. And a scenario with Spurs as champions will also require six wins out of six for us, which will mean we end the season with 13 consecutive league wins, which must be (close to) a record for us if we pull it off.

It's really a dream scenario, and so many things have to go our way. Stranger things have happened, of course, but it will be a massive failure on Chelski's part if they somehow throw this away. If they get something from Manure today, I think that's effectively the final nail in the coffin.

Anyways; I'm extremely satisfied and proud to see us playing like we do, so let's continue to take one game at a time and see where it takes us.

Makes you livid that City couldn't put in a performance like yesterday when they were playing Chelski.
 
I see Utd have rested Mkhitaryan and Zlatan and they are on teh bench. If Jose was taking the league seriously he would have started both of them. I just hope Anderlecht knock them out on Thursday

What were they basing the 'Poch angling for a move' on?
 
Likely working along the notion that we are Tottenham and can't possible stay this good. Anyone decent at the club should look to move elsewhere as soon as possible.

Their reasoning is nothing more than pointing to the history of the club and saying that because we haven't been a top club for decades, we never will be. They reason that because we aren't a "top club" our top player's will need to go to other clubs to fulfill their potential.

I was born in 76
In my youth Chelsea and city were second division sides
United were gash for a very very long time with a revolving door of managers
Arsenal we're our rivals but we were the better team until graham joined them as manager

Things can change massively quick in football, and more so if you have no stability

And a clubs history is clearly no indicator of their future other than maybe ho many bums on seats they may get

Didn't see the programme so can't comment but if they said "Pochettino keeps angling for a move away", that's a worry coz they probably know something. If they're saying "Spurs can't possibly keep Pochettino because of how well he's doing" that's probably just ill informed guesswork.
