*** Tottenham Hotspur vs Scum OMT ***

Good performance. Especially in the second half. Would have taken the draw and disappointed we weren't more clinical for the win. But the real Spurs is there to see. Just need to be more consistent.

So good to have Danny back.

Dembele - when on his game, is there a better centre mid in the league?

Liking three at the back. But need two up top. Would like to see Kane off Jaansen.

"Kane off Jaansen" I feel that a little OTT - he may improve?

Full strength Arsenal side in the form of their lives at home, against an injury hit spurs side and we were unlucky not to win.

Don't know why so man were scared. Apart from Ozil and Sánchez they are nothing special

Yep, I'll fess up to feeling that we were going to get beat before we started. But the boys did good!
Arsenal are where they are partly due to a couple of really dodgy goals - Burnley and us spring to mind.

It wasn't the cluster fuk some feared. Without key players again we played well. We need some stability now, and some of that quick passing one touch passing in the final third that can make us so hard to defend against.

Your not the only one but the lads did well - I can now try and get my deposit back on the O2 - I'd booked it for a group hug for all us fans;) But we don't need it now :)

He is clearly the best left back in the the Premier League and if there are better ones elsewhere, there cannot be too many. What's your problem anyway? As for being deluded, take a look in the mirror mate!

You said he was world class and there is no better left back than him in the world lol.

so, where the fudge was this attitude on Wednesday?

Arsenal's pressing dropped off and we got back into the game. I don't think that's a coincidence - we do struggle when teams press us, and it's a world of difference being pressed by Leverkusen versus being pressed by just Alexis Sanchez, and occasionally one or two of his disinterested team-mates. Can't completely explain why we were good today and so mind-numbingly awful in the mid-week game, but that could be a big reason. Plus, it's a derby - form goes out the window.

Not sure what to say about this. We were absolutely shocking, unbelievably bad in mid-week - we improved today, and deservedly so. The one is a different situation to the other, and it seems to me to be fine to be utterly shocked by one and pleased by the other.

We are unbeaten in 11 in the league. We have not been wonderful (save for the City game), but we are in there battling away. We have also had a lot of bad luck and a number of key injuries. Not having a go at anyone, but some of the comments on here on Thursday showed a complete lack of perspective and an inability to see the big picture.

Just to say, I hope EVERYONE who panicked, doubted and doom mongered learnt a lesson today. I am disappointed we didn't win hahahaha, fudge those tossERS always! We are Tottenham and this is Poch. Another tactical masterclass under pressure of injuries, etc...COYS!!!

As I said before mate we were unlucky not to win, better chances 2nd half. Only worry is Alli out; injuries mounting up.

No, I get that you weren't having a go at anyone, but the game mid-week was a CL game, and we've been quite poor in those - it's a stark contrast to our league form, where we've been stodgy (save for City, we were utterly, utterly amazing in that game) but relatively solid. People took a look at our CL performances, which have been below par, and judged the performance accordingly - today, league standards came back in. For me, there's little wrong in differentiating one and the other (and, indeed, I think that's what a lot of comments were careful to indicate), although I recognize that people might have differing opinions on that.

Personally, I stand by what I said post-Leverkusen - we were truly woeful against relatively equal opponents in that game (although Verts and Wanyama were okay-ish and Janssen had no service, so difficult to blame him) and Poch, while a very good manager, isn't exactly Fifa 'Top 10 in the world' material just yet. Where I will concede a point is that Poch definitely impressed me today with the tactical switch-up: As I've said, I'd have sung his praises for that even if we ended up losing, because to me that's a much better indicator of his long-term capabilities here than the result per se.

The fear was based on the past matches with "lesser" opponents.
The good think about the injuries is that it forces Poch to try something new.
He should have given Wimmer more game time instead of Dier in previous games.

One of the first tackles in the game had the winning breakdancing over reaction from an an Arsenal player of course
If anybody gets/sees a video of it I would love copy.

Christ if one our players acted like it I'd be bloody embarrassed
That was Coquelin. McManaman called him on it in commentary, and replays confirmed it
