The Official 2015/16 Premier League Thread

Southampton haven't managed to put Liverpool under any kind of pressure after pulling one back. Whenever we concede when we are two goals up, we are under relentless pressure for the rest of the game.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine come back to condemn them both. Norwich at home next is even bigger than today.

Haha

The closer the gap got the less his 'cash out' offer would be.

He cashed out at 70k after we drew 2-2 with Arsenal and before Leicester beat Watford that same evening. If he had waited til after the Leicester v Watford game even he'd have been offered 90k roughly.

I imagine with the way the league stands now he'd have been offered in the excess of 100k.

So yeh he would have been better holding on, but of course it's easy to say that. If you have a chance to put 70 k in your bank at the click of the button on a bet that could still go wrong you're going to be tempted!

Thank you.

And absolutely, £70k is not to be sniffed at!

So I guess there must be a trade off between any diminishing points gap (if that were the case) lessening his cash out amount against the reducing number of games left (chances for them to be caught).

Either way, good luck to the guy... Hopefully that's. A hunk of mortgage paid off or whatever.

With £70k in the bank he can enjoy the rest of the season. Imagine it going down to the last game at Stamford Bridge and he has Leicester's title hopes and the quarter million all riding on the game. Now the worst that can happen is he has £70k.

City have completely fudged up their season by announcing Pep. Also do you think the summer signings were peps? i mean we all knew where he was going when he announced he was leaving Bayern when his contract was up and that Pellegrini was going to carry on.

So city 10 points behind with a game in hand, top 4 is looking very good for us as a minimum now.

I said to watch out for Utd, I see them finishing top 4.

city wouldn't have scored if they played another 90 mins, sky must have loved this weekend's results, title race is down to 3 teams now and there is an almighty bun fight for 4th now, southampton in that mix as well
