General Transfer Rumour Discussion Thread

Im sure one can be found.
But before that, you really should fully define the criteria for ever ammended argument;
What degree of passing angle is acceptable to you?
Do you require a lower and upper speed?
Do you need the pitch dividing into quadrants to define exact points?

Better get all that defined before any data is produced - just so we know your requirements.

This isn't the first time youve took the tinkle as a reply. Why don't you try using opinion or intelligence?

I said from the beginning I wanted a map. Nothing's changed.

With Saido and Wanyama both being left out - I wonder how likely it is that we'll get both? Do we not want to rely on the black-box just yet and want proven EPL players?

Not sure about Wanyama personally (or a dedicated DM) but I'd like to see pace and a forward option for Kane.

Wanyama no way now. Koeman has gone into great detail why Wanyama will not be sold this window and the club are backing him

Berahino on the other hand is a little bit different in that i think Pulis wouldnt mind selling and using the money to strengthen his squad, but the chairman thinks differently and doesnt want to be bullied or taken advantage of by Levy and so has said Bera will not be sold

I said in the Berahino thread that i think Spurs gave up on Berahino and went for Son instead.

Don't think it does prove it, a sideways pass with a one degree angle forward would class as a forward pass, I want to see a map showing the direction.

A map of what?

Here's his pass map vs Leicester

Accuracy 85%
Avg Length 19m
Forward 75.7%
Backward 24.3%

Here's Modric's from yesterday

Berahino for Spurs so . Will be shocked if we don't sign him .. My only worry is if united come in at last minute and Nick him . Can actually see that .

where is the moeny going to come from? every window we just about break even. This window weve made 49 mill in sales and spent 51 mill. I think thats our lot now

I think Adebayor Lennon Fazio will leave for sure 100% ... I also believe u cud see Townsend leaving , maybe in some sort of swap with wanyama even though I don't think we truly in for him or even Townsend to villa/ palace . I don't think we are interested in bolaise but I def cud see Townsend leaving ... Same with lamela . I bet he ends up at juventus or back to Roma .. Cash is there to push boat out for two signings if those are sold

That frees up some money .. My prediction ... Berahino n Witsel ..

If he does, I hope it's more than a loan with an option, we could do with the money now.

Italian clubs rarely have money. It's always loan with an option to buy. There's story today about Napoli having a loan offer for Dembele turned down.

So, to sum up where it seems we are at the moment.

Lamela staying, according to his dad. Right?
No news on Lennon. Apparently, no one is interested.
West Ham supposedly want Adebayor, and might be desperate, but very little smoke.
Eriksen supposedly injured, Juventus wants him, but there hasn't been a whole lot of hulabaloo on this one either.

Berahino supposedly staying put. We have spent the money on Son. Looks unlikely.
Wanyama being told he's staying. So'ton will be playing hard as they did with Schneider. Can see this one not happening.
Pato could end up anywhere in Europe.
Witsel - not gonna happen, nothing to suggest the link is even real.
Austin supposedly going to United.

Soo ... are we set for some desperate last minute buys ala Gzregorz Rasiak? Craig Bellamy on a free? John Arne Riise? Ronaldinho still worth a punt? I'm glad it's over soon. :p:p

I would say that just about sums it up.We have left our most valuable asset Harry Kane high and dry.We really needed someone with PL experience to help him.

Ryan Fredericks is set to sign for Fulham just weeks after joining Bristol City.

The 22-year-old signed for City from Tottenham earlier this month but wants to return to London for personal reasons.

Fulham have agreed a fee with the Robins and Fredericks will undergo a medical before completing a move to Craven Cottage.

Fredericks, who can play at right-back or further forward, has made four appearances for City since signing a three-year contract at Ashton Gate earlier this month.

He made four first-team appearances during his time at Spurs and has had loan spells at Brentford, Millwall and Middlesbrough.
