My very first OMT, thought I better as I wanted to discuss this game and people seem reluctant to start this thread, perhaps because it is likely many think we dont have a prayer at the Etihad, shame on you all!

Like a sacrificial lamb I throw myself down onto the Altar at the mercy of the OMT Gods! I ask things to go our way on Saturday! I plead that it would help our cause not to concede after 15 seconds this time! I ask our players find the strength to defend to the best of their abilities, and to counter attack with aplomb! Stoke have shown us the way, we must try and follow!

Dont know what sort of game this will be after International break and players being tired so I will go with this team, please bear in mind the striker choice has been training with us for two weeks up to this game and will be fresh as a daisy.

I'll take an early guess on this as to what I'd like to see, but a few international games left yet that might change things

I would rest Ade and Lamela due to their international commitments

I think it would be unfair on Kane not to start him for this one as he has been our best striker this season so far.

I don't think there's any question regarding team selection if Naughton is out of contention - same as Soton and Arsenal but with Dier starting.

I'd love Soldado to smash it up in the UEFA cup to earn a start over Ade, but he's not there yet.
 
I think we'll have to play like a Tony Pullis team. Put on the speedsters Lennon and Townsend and hoof it up to them in the spaces behind their attacking full-backs...

Although I don't think it'll happen but I do like Shelfie's midfield ...So my team and set-up would be:

Chadli and Lloris doubts for this, annoying as both our best players this season.

If Chadli isn't playing I'd actually play Kane to replace him. Him, Eriksen and Lamela behind Soldado would be nice to see.

Why the disappointment????

You do realise I am offering up my OMT virginity as an offering to the gods! with the sole aim that if we can pull something off it will make all the spurs fans on here happy as larry!

I have prostrated myself before the gods! I love this club! what more do you want? they didn't want a score prediction or a picture of a badger looking horny!

Special consideration needs to be made for Silva who drifts into the pockets between the full backs and the dm! I also reckon if we get any attacking joy it will be down the right hand side rather than the one where Milner offers great defensive protection!
