Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

Eriksen is easily our best player. I guess it's hard comparing a goalkeeper to an attacking midfielder, but I know which one opposition players will be most concerned with playing against

I think Eriksen has been excellent at times but there have also been games where he has gone missing. I think a fairer criteria to judge the players than who would "scare the opposition" is which of our players could make any other side in the Pl. At the moment IMO it would be lloris, Ade or eriksen.

Didn't TS say that we had a 'great squad' around January when he decided not to get anybody in, even on loan?

So now we are 'much of a muchness' according to him? Well he's changed his tune hasn't he?

No doubt he's preparing the usual 'not-me-guv' excuses when things go wrong in the field.

He's been washing his hands for some time now.

'Tottenham manager Tim Sherwood has admitted that he does not know his best team because so many of his players are "much of a muchness".'

Jesus Christ Tim..

This guy is a f***ing idiot. How can he come out with sh1t like this and expect to have the players behind him? Even if you have views like this, you keep them to yourself or inside the club - you don't need to go mouthing off to the press all the time. As I said before, its reminiscent of Harry and so much so its as if he's being advised by Harry. SO not only does TS not have any experience of actually managing a team, he's compounding his weakness by ruining the image of the club and running his relationship with the players.
The sooner he's gone the better

When comparing a Lamborghini to a Ferrari, you don't say 'much of a muchness'

You say that when the options are so uninspiring that it's not worth debating one over the other coz you'll more than likely be disappointed anyway.

Sorry, if that quote is true, he's a ******** and needs to go.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

Sandro declaring that he's fit and yet not featuring today is a further symptom of the virus to Tottenham Hotspur that Tim Sherwood is.

I didn't think that it was possible for me to dislike someone so much but with Sherwood, I loathe him.

I'll always support our club but that's now in spite of the manager, not with the manager.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

I'm getting really worried that he's doing damage now that might not be easily repaired by the new guy. this sandro business looks very ugly from the outside.

if he genuinely believes sandro isn't worth a place on our bench, and that chadli is a better bet in the middle, then there is no place for him in football. at any level.

i'm really concerned at these going ons.

It's true though, isn't it? We do have a good but very samey squad.

Perhaps he thought that he couldn't get anyone better in during the January window or that he would give the players a chance to prove their worth.

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

This quote has been explained and corrected earlier in the thread but this is such a polarising issue that people have their version of the truth and now view anything this man says through those lenses.
Innocent harmless words can be misheard and twisted to an end result of "Deadwood you *&$£ing macaron, how dare you say that, disgrace, get out of our club *pant* *dribble* I've never been so embarrassed in all my years as a Spur fan etc etc"
Happily the minority of Spurs fans who visit online forums aren't indicative of the whole.

Yup. I think virus is the best term for him, as I stated above. He's infected the whole squad and brought us form a level. He's had a negative impact on the club.

I really hope that we appoint a superstar manager as otherwise we wasted 6 months. We would have been better appointing an ok manager in January, if that's all we end up with. At least that way we wouldn't have had all this **** from Sherwood.

I am as well though, because Deadwood is making so many decisions which are utterly baffling, you would imagine that the players are now just waiting for the summer and for him to be gone. I cant imagine he has any credibility with the squad

i'm concerned that our poor treatment of promising young players career's will also be a huge impediment on our future recruitment efforts.

i can't see anything but a huge stampede for the exit door in the summer. the new guy is going to have some gravitas and get it right on the day he walks in through the front gates or it could get ugly.

The new guy needs to be brought in asap once the season ends, or at least TS fired. Will lift this horrible cloud which is hanging over the club

Well the only plausible reason is that Timmeh and Lezz'ay are trying to make a statement to world football that his genius theory of doing away with holding players (re: makalele) is the way forward....

Re: Tim Sherwood - Head Coach

If we play against West Ham with the same system as today we will end up making Nolan look amazing. Far too much space in our midfield
