I am still holding out hope we can sign Willian and keep hold of Bale. However, I feel if we sign Lamela as well he has to be off

I agree 100% and even without the Bale money with our annual revenue and added TV money I see no proof that we are spending above our means.

Yes that's my thinking too. Lamela in surely means Bale out.

If we can pull off this Willian deal I will be delighted. I think he'll have a massive impact with regards to our chance creation, more so than Lamela IMO.
 
Lamela is the better player. Willian would create more chances, Lamela would score more goals. Which is why both would be brilliant.
 
Would e awesome if we can pull this off and give AVB a player he has wanted for ages, shows Levy is backing his man big time!

People don't believe that we have out bid Liverpool and i tend to agree. I believe we both had offers accepted and the player has/will choose us.

From the very little I've seen of him, I'd think he's capable of playing in all 3 positions behind the striker in the 4-2-3-1?

Don't even know if he's got a preferred side honestly

I imagine he'd play in Lennons position. If we was to get him and Lamela in though it'd be on the left with Lamela on the right in my view. Fluid changing from all three though at top.

Have we broken our wage cap or raised it? Is that why we're suddenly acquiring this level of talent (not saying Willian is done, mind)?
 
Why is everyone telling me that this deal is done? It isn't yet, as far as I know.

Yet, people at work keep talking about him and Lamela as if they are done deals. And I'm talking fans of SCBC here.
