Emmanuel Adebayor - Officially gone \o/

Re: Adebayor get out of our club

was you both crying out for him to be sold when he put us one up ?

some people need to impose a ban on themselves from posting on match days if they can't keep their emotions n check

*were

No I wasn't crying, I was happy that for a brief moment he did the job he's paid 10's of thousands a week for. Then he single handedly lost the game, and put our next three games in jeopardy. Kind of a different thing there!

so one incident is enough to get you calling for him to leave the club ?

Crouch at Real Madrid got the same reaction i suppose ?

Unbelievale thread

First time we've managed to semi-replace Berbatov and people wany him out

Wow

Does a player's not temperament not matter at all? Just as long as he's talented it's ok I suppose. He's been a problem child at every club he's been at.

He scored 17 league goals last season but he should have had at least 25 with the amount of chances he created.

fudge, we should sell him because of that red?

And who'll replace him? Who on earth do you people suggest will replace him?

I hope he gets a massive fine. Hope he publically apologizes as well. But beyond that, don't see the point in pilloring him.

It's not one incident. He's got a history of acting up/causing trouble. What about the stamp on Van Persie? Emirates Marketing Project fans and Arsenal are both glad to be shot of him. His talent isn't worth the trouble. We can go out and get a better striker than him if were prepared to spend the money.

Sorry mate but many of our players have been sent off for silly things - you're letting emotions overwhelm you due to the terrible result

We are a weaker team than last season - perhaps ask Levy some questions

Dempsey or Sig until January then go out and buy someone else.

Try....just try telling that to Levy. Just try.

that sounds quite similar to one of the points you argue against about Redknapp :p

you mention what he was like at former clubs but what has he done at Spurs that makes you question his attitude ? is one incident for us enough for you to write off what looks like a changed man? (imv the Angola bus incident matured him as a person and since then he has been nothing short of professional with us)

He made a mistake. A big one. Let's not spacegoat him. He wanted more thn any of us to win today and he will be bitterly disappointed. His time will come again

His work rate leaves a lot to be desired in some games.

Do you honestly think he's a changed man?

Do you think he's worth it talent wise?

He hasn't had AS MANY incidents at Spurs, but today showed that he's always a risk to do something completely stupid.

Jurgen - yes i do think he is a changed man and i have not seen one thing to suggest otherwise - even the red card today, a stupid reckless challenge, but was it one made in an attempt to hurt the other player or was it just over eagerness to do well now that he is back in the team and in a game against a side he has history with ? he went for the ball 100% imv

don't agree on work rate at all - he was one of our most hard working players last season and even if he was a little shy in terms of goals at times he was constantly involved all over the opponents half, working hard making space for others, getting involved in build up and play and making chances for his team mates. also his defensive work at corners should not be over looked

do i think he's worth it talent wise ? worth what ? he's a great player, one of the best in our squad and one that we look so much better with than without - no reason at all to not have him in the side

might be worth mentioning i was one the posters who was very much against signing him on loan as i pretty much hated the guy from his time at Arsenal and City - but he was totally unrecognizable from that person last season with us and made me reevaluate my opinion of him. a great player who adds so much to our team in terms of goals and effort and im chuffed we managed to sign him full time
