***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Palace OMT***

Most importantly, I'll just trust Roberto on his team selection. He deserves that much from the fans.

I'm hoping he maintains the Fernandez / Tonali double pivot and keeps Tel and Kudus in the wide areas. What he does with Solanke, Marmoush, Madds and Gallagher in the 9 and 10 positions has a bunch of variables that we're not privy to. It will also be based on the opposition.

Kinsky, Dubravka, Porro, Gray, JPVH, VSDV, Senesi, Robbo, Udogie, Davies, Bergval, Gallagher, Madds, Kulu, Kudus, Tel, LWB, Marmoush, Solanke.

That's 19 of the players listed on the 1st team squad page. I reckon that just leaves a slot for Olusesi to add depth in midfield.

He said today during the presser that Ferdnandes can play 10 but if better deeper.

You missed Tonali & Ferdnandes in your squad so that’s 21. Bergvall is injured though so your 20 is set before Olusessi.

Is he dropping hints that Gray comes into midfield with Tonali and Fernandez maybe?

He might think that Gray doesn't deserve not to be in the team and that Fernandez is a hybrid of Madds and Gallagher.

I would love to see Gray given a chance with Tonali/Fernandez behind...I think his intelligence in both being able to find a pass plus timing to arrive in the box could well see it being a role which would work for him? Truth is youd suspect Gallagher will be in for Madders...

Anyone coming to the match via M11 or anywhere east, avoid North Circular down to one lane past Crooked Billet westbound.

Works | Utility works

[A406] (Westbound) between the Crooked Billet Roundabout and Hall Lane - Lanes one and two (of three) are closed for Thames Water works.

Yeah I’ve always thought he be better at 10 than Fernandes (and has the benefit of Fernandes deep where he’s pretty much our best player)

This feeling of positive expectation has become so unfamiliar I don’t quite know how to process it!

Quiet dread. That’s been my relationship with Spurs over the last couple of years. Even if we do find a way to lose against the Crystals tonight, surely that’s a temporary blip on a long journey into Ascension?

Because there’s only so many false dawns we should be expected to withstand….

Do wonder if Marmoush will offer the same sort of movement in the middle as Maddison? Or will he stay further up and allow Tonali and Fernandes to control the game alone

I know spirits are up and after the last two years we will cling to any sort of positivity. But I don’t think tonight will be the walk in the park some are predicting. I’ll take a win by any means right now

Up the Spurs
