***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs Palace OMT***

It's fair to say the Palace fans are not optimistic. Echoes of some Spurs' fans gallows outlook from not long ago:

"After our disastrous recent results, can only see a heavy defeat coming our way at the hands of Spurs,a suddenly much improved team, who are apparently looking forward to this game. 3-0 home win."

"0-4 to them. Sadly as I can’t stand spurs!!"

"Not one of my better decisions getting a ticket for this one 🤨 I’ll go 3-1 to them"

"We'll get a good doing, they're hitting some form and playing good football, we on the other hand are putrid f*%$& dross of the filthiest order.
We will stink the gaff out and be lucky to get a 4-0 slapping."

"Tottenham have 'Hit their straps' in recent back-to-back victories and were particularly impressive at Chelsea.
I cannot look beyond a comprehensive Tottenham victory."

"Halloween. Horror. Spurs on the up.Defeat. Weird though, the other way around i.e. visit from crisis club we would donate the win just to be polite. Don't imagine Spurs will be that kind."

With the odd exception..."3-0 palace we will play with 11 men and a goalkeeper that won't punch the ball into his own net 🫣 . Chelsea gifted them the game"

so its like all fans feel the same. Except entitled Yanited fans and arrogant filth fans.

Dr Tottenham normaly rears his head at this moment. So im still full of pessimism. And we still look short up front. Whoever gets the first goal in this is going to win.

Plenty of tickets on the exchange for this one, are ST's just looking to get some money back and watch on TV or are they genuinely unable to attend.
Expect it will be the usual dour game against Palace , need to cut out any slack passes and falling over from the slightest push, we actually created three of Chelski's best chances ourselves.
Hoping Tel & Kudus can carry on the good work.

Hmmn .. I had a strange optimism that we might get something against Chelsea....but Spurs are masters of the "after the Lord Mayor's Show" performances. So I think it's going to be very tight...I'd love us to smash them but expect one or two defensive masterclasses from their back four/five.
