Tosin & Mudryk deals with Chelsea

Yeh me either and TBH I think like other players people saw a handful of highlight clips and thought "yeh he is good" and based an entire thought process around him. That happens, we are all likely guilty of that.

The honest part is that I don't remember anyone on here wanting him for 75m at the end of his last playing season at Chelsea, thats telling

Mudryk again, dont really rate him and you are right he's not played competitive matches but as trained for the last two years in professional envrionment. If Savio, Kudus, Kulusevski, Xavi, Odobert are fit, along with Marmoush and Solanke, where do you put Mudryk? Nowhere, and that's the point.

Nice idea but it doesn't work, football is emotion, positive and negative.

This has (I can post tons of social media coverage if you like) generated nothing but negative emotion, and as I've said, for what upside?

If you're desperately looking for an upside, I'd say either the guy is desperate for a chance to show what he can do (and literally resurrect his career) or he'll sit on his hands, pocket his Chelsea wages for five years and call it a day. In terms of motivation, it's sensible to assume he's head and shoulders above anyone else.

‘thinking coming back after serving 2 years of a 4 year ban for taking performance enhancing drugs (this wasn't a recreational case) is significantly worse than coming back from an injury. Especially as he's not been allowed access to facilities in that time’

Let them mock us, if that really is what spoils a pretty good window then people need to grow up and grow a pair.
We were mocked when we had kane and son.
We were being mocked last week.
As long as they get a reaction people will continue to mock.

Mocked because a portion of our fanbase are acting like entitled drama queens. We’ve got a punt on a loan - is the idea that Mudryk is such a terrible person that he’s going to stink up the place? If he’s a brick player, then so be it, he won’t play. What’s the big deal? I just don’t get the outcry.
 
The FA said the test showed "a low concentration" of the prohibited cardiovascular medication.

It added that changes have since been made to the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) technical document regarding meldonium.

The FA said the changes are "not retroactive" but noted that had Mudryk's test been conducted today then "the concentration of meldonium in the sample would not have been reported" and no adverse finding would have been recorded.

I dont know much but can someone explain to me how different gakpo, him and Ndiyaye.
Are they not all entirely different?? Other than being able to play on left?

We've already been mocked for almost getting relegated, for spending £100 million on Tonali, for spending £85 million on "twice relegated" Fernandes, for spending £75 million on Savio and probably for plenty of other things too. If you're worried about getting mocked then Spurs may not be the club for you.

All 3 are very different
That’s my frustration personally
One is a bit of a blunt weapon but a scorer too
The other is a tricky winger
And the last (Mudryk) is all about pace… but seems to have lost it

Gakpo wants to receive the ball wide, cut in on to his right foot, and look to bend it in the far corner, but has a decent shot in general.

Ndiaye has a bag full of tricks is a dribbler, and wants to slalom through before hopefully getting a chance to shoot or play someone in.

Mudryk wants to knock it past you and then use pace to put the after burners on and intends to put a cut back on a plate or find a finish.

Varying success rates throughout the three tbh.

I think most people are missing the point

- Our fans will lap up this narrative, and that will carry to the stadium
- Want to bet an uncomfortable amount of money of who this season's spacegoat is going to be? (and everyone of us who goes to the stadium knows there is always one)
- Want to bet what the reaction is when we are losing a game at home and RDZ takes off one of Gray/Bergvall/Kudus/Savio for Mudryk? it will be fudging absolutely toxic.

And again, my question is, for what upside? this guy is a panic loan, hail mary project with a ton of baggage for the upside of "he might be a serviceable backup"?

Frustrated because the more things change, the more Spurs stays the same, always shooting ourselves in the foot, always taking a PR hit for no reason, always taking a moment to celebrate and fudging it up ..

I agree. If he performs and helps the team, the fans are going to support him. If he’s really bad, that will drive the toxicity. I don’t think basing anything on engagement bait from people that are incentivised to make extreme takes is a way to make football decisions though.

Mudryk simply needs to perform. If DZ thinks he was a future balon dor winner, that’s pretty much good enough for me. I think the point people made about Dele a few pages back was a good one. There’s plenty of videos of him training and the clubs just aren’t biting. Mudryk has gotten himself a good move and I’d have to think RDZ wouldn’t be doing something that he thinks would hinder him.

I’m very interested in how Mudryk has maintained his ‘football’ sharpness. I like the idea that he has had an 18 months pre season. We need players with less miles on their body. But what gives the club the confidence that he’ll be able to perform in the PL after so long out?

I don't think people would give a fudge, untill a point that poor performances settle in then they may be quicker than usual to get on his back
