Transfer thread

It seems like we are shopping at the Chelsea jumble sale … but this can only mean one thing … we are saving our pennies for Osimen! Bomba style!!!! Bomba, Bomba.. Bomba
I feel like we were heavily relying on Richie going the other way to be able to afford Ndieye.

Who cares!! The question shoud be... have we taken advantage of Chelsea's need to shift deadwood to our advantage.

I'm not sure.

Both feel like adding numbers. I can see Savio and Kudus being the starters on the wings.

Marmoush as a 9 or 10 (playing behind Solanke or Infront of Kulu so we have someone to hold the ball up)

Tosin in as he is HG as back up.

Who would have thought we'd end the transfer window scrabbling around to loan 5th choice options? Quite like old times.

Half expecting to hear Levy was given his old job back yesterday.

Think Tel will be used a lot more as a CF this season

His free kick on Saturday shows that he knows how to hit the target (if the target is Seat 47, Row 72, Section 324 of the South Stand).

I have seen that theory a few times last night and this morning but it makes no sense to me if we were apparently happy to throw £85m at Liverpool for Gakpo, I think it’s more likely City have double fudged us with Gakpo then Ndieye who simply choose them over us.

So seeing as we appear desperate for another winger why weren’t we in for Mbaye or Fofana, are they not any good? Gone to Villa and Sunderland respectively.

'Some' undoubtedly quality/skill, sure - but we're grasping at straws if this is what we're banking on to transform our attack.

Honestly I'm really not seeing a leap in quality this window bar CM
We've gone from Tel to Savio. Even if you don't think Savio is a game changer in himself, Tel not starting will be a massive upgrade. 🤣

Sure and thats good, but upgrades on players people don't rate at all is a low bar. The proof now is how this compares to the standards of where we want to be in the PL

Fofana is pretty highly rated and only £30m but seems we only want players with PL experience, I think we have enough of that in now to take 1 or 2 without it.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine about to sign this person (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matias_Fernandez-Pardo) as well who is also highly rated for £55m.

I think you know though that I actually rate Savio so I guess I have a degree of confidence that he will do well here. He's a player I've watched for years and wanted us to sign from Girona.

I was just trying to appeal Billy's feelings on Tel.

too many people losing their absolute minds on a 4th choice CB.

Mudryk, yeh doubt it's worth a signing. However, we wanted Gakpo, City are moneybags bigger than us, couldn't get it done and stole in for Ndiaye. That's life. Not like Mudryk was our first choice was it?

Arsenal just had Fofana sorted and now he's opted for Sunderland.

Honestly people need to calm the fudge down. Where does Mudryk fit if Odobert, Kulu, Xavi are fit with Savio and Kudus?
