So if I’m thinking ahead about bets to place for our game against Everton in a couple of weeks, any suggestions as to who might score against us…
Indeed, when he said Spence wanted to leave nobody accused him of throwing Spence under the bus.I think it could’ve been lost in translation a bit - I think maybe he was just being open that he wants to leave, rather than criticising him for it?
Right now looks as if anyone can score against usSo if I’m thinking ahead about bets to place for our game against Everton in a couple of weeks, any suggestions as to who might score against us…![]()
There’s quite clearly a difference between the Spence, Danso and Sarr comments to him saying Richarlson has asked to leave too many times, the insinuation is he can’t wait to leave and is being a pest about it.Indeed, when he said Spence wanted to leave nobody accused him of throwing Spence under the bus.

hope he doesn't fall down againReading between the lines he is holding out for a payoff on part of his contract.
All they need to do is get the ball into the box and our defence will struggle, and Richy will be where he is best....in the boxSo if I’m thinking ahead about bets to place for our game against Everton in a couple of weeks, any suggestions as to who might score against us…![]()
FfsSeems like Richy is biting back a bit
Translates roughly as “I am a villain of many poorly told stories
Harmony in the club
He is, isn’t he.Harmony in the club
He got two against Everton tbf. It is written. I hope the haters at least find some dry humour in it!
Part of me is glad if he leaves, we'll only hear twice a season how useless he is rather than every single game from the same cluster of posters looking for validation, crying about his haircut because they won't ever be a sexy bastard like Richy.
Selling the top scorer by choice three seasons in a row seems like quite a unique series of events. And our replacements don't seem to fill the void at CF, especially if Solanke gets injured again. But maybe RDZ's plan is through false 9s and a lot of rotation across the front line, if that's the case it'll take a while to adjust to the style of play. The worry being, that De Zerbi got better form with the relegation contenders of last season than a team that are going to be weighed down by price tags if they can't win football games. It's still early days of course, it's just ideally we'd look good rather than not across the course of two league games. If we just want to look decent against Charlton and the likes, we probably should have gone down the relegation route..
Yes, we need better. Quite obviously. Pretending otherwise because some people don’t like hearing it isn’t going to magically turn an average squad into a top-four one. I mean he couldn’t even get into the most recent Brazil World Cup squad, and the Brazil team at the moment is crap.
We’re not a top-four contender. We have far too many players who are, at best, bottom-half calibre. That’s not being negative, it’s looking at the squad without rose-tinted glasses.
And if we can’t have a proper, honest discussion about players like “Richy” and “Vic” without everyone immediately jumping in to defend them, then what exactly is the point of the forum?
Are we genuinely still doing the “everyone’s brilliant, nobody needs replacing” routine after 2 consecutive years finishing in 17th place? Because if that’s the standard, we may as well just close the forum and start handing out participation medals.
Players need upgrading. That’s how football works. Sentimentality won’t get us into the top four.

Savinho "couldn't even" get into the Brazil squad, does he need replacing too?
Who has said that everyone's brilliant nobody needs replacing? It's easy to feel like you've won a debate if you make up a ridiculous statement and argue against it. On the same note I can't see many that have defended Vic, I think his flaws are too prominent to be our number 1 but I didn't spend my summer whining about him on a football forum, I'm not the perfect fan but I try to actually supportive unlike some, as if your analysis is some cold hard truthes that need to be heard lol . The forum is here for discussion, but telling everyone you don't like Richarlison's face or hair or he's not good enough at 2 day intervals isn't really discussion now is it? It's more like a symptom of having very little to do, or possibly some kind of cognitive issue. If you're stuck in some kind of recurring nightmare feeling oppressed by Richarlison and trans athletes I have sympathy but can't help on that front!
Couldn't give a fudge about top four anyways, and who is or isn't a "top four player" is another beyond tedious debate.
Sorry, are you saying that no 'honest discussions' about Richarlison should include any form of defending him from criticism? That's hilarious TBH.
Defending him is fine, but equally, criticism of a player is also par for the course for a football forum.
Yes and really only one was a quality player. Johnson and Richy very poor apart from getting some goals. Sonny was an incredible player.3rd summer in a row losing our top goalscorer
