Mikey Moore

Yeah I doubt it was an audition with the outcome dictating whether he stays or goes. If you play it safe and don't attempt to take anyone on you'll keep possession, sounds like me in Sunday league, especially when you add in missing good chances!

Getting in the position to miss those chances is an encouraging sign but if things get messy it'll be tough for him and not the best for his development imo. It's highly likely once options are back he won't be close to starting...If Moore stays around til Jan and makes an impact I'll be happy to be wrong of course.

Makes no sense to keep until January, with Savio and likely Kudus and Deki not too far off, a loan is what he needs.

It's clear, he's got the physicality now, he's got the positioning, it's really his decision making that is pretty brick. To me, that is best resolved by real, consistent game time.

Agree but even with Kudus returning we still only have 3 wingers if we let Moore leave. He would still get regular game time as our fourth choice winger.

He would learn more being around the first team and RDZ too. Loans are not always great jjst because players get game time IMO, its about the quality of surroundings and the education
That is true.
But if one of the issues Moore needs to improve upon is in-game decision making then having regular first-team action out on loan will probably be the quickest way to build that up

That was Pochettino’s MO with our youngsters but if they’re not playing regularly then would prefer he went on loan at a club with a decent set-up than end up stagnating due to lack of game time like so many of that vintage did.

IMO Moore is better than Tel and should be played on the left instead.

He isn't, he's had some better moments, (which he mostly hasn't taken advantage of) but ..

- He isn't building a partnership with his FB and closest midfielder (go watch the Charlton game and see how many times he made the wrong pass/move when Gray and Bergvall gave him options)
- Decision making, see point above
- He can be out of the game for periods
- RDZ wants wide players that retain possession well (see Savio/Kudus profile, tricky wingers but don't turn over the ball).

I'm not defending Tel but the Brentford game would tell you why he will play and Moore will go out on loan (it showed all the points above)

Disagree, think he'll get minutes with us - he's good enough and will learn so much more training with our players than Champo players.
He is on course for a loan in Germany, I would suggest that is a higher standard than the Championship. Playing regularly in that league is better than getting occasional minutes with our first team.

Premier league minutes is absolutely better then Bundesliga minutes, but with our players back you need to consider the quantity. Tel and Savio start, Kudus comes in when he is back, the Odobert and Kulu. Maybe he gets a 5-6 games at the start, but its diminishing returns. Surely a loan where he plays 20-30 games outweighs that.
