People seriously need their heads examined if they think we’re getting anywhere near the top 6. Our forwards are relegation quality. I would be over the moon with top half.

Guess we need to refresh this a bit - i am holding to my view that CL placings is the expectation and it will be very difficult.

Arsenal and Emirates Marketing Project to fight for the title, so its between us and liverpool, chelsea and Man U I think. Bournemouth, sunderland and brighton have europa and conference league so it will be a long season for them. Palace too.

I think we lose to Forest, then start turning up a bit more post international break, and we’ll eventually scrape ourselves into about 9th but it will take us a good while of looking like we’re about 14th at best until it starts to really click near the end of the season allowing us to climb a fair bit toward the end of the season.

I genuinely have no clue where we will finish or where we should expect to finish. With our history and spending, you'd say we should be pushing top 4. With our recent history and start, you think "you can't go from two 17ths to 4th" but there were so many extenuating circumstances around those finishes that I don't think they're a fair baseline.

I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy the ride - anything could happen.

Agree, but don't think we will get that close to 4th.

I think it will continue to be a bumpy start to the season, leaving us too much to do to get a CL place but do think we will click into gear later on to obtain a European spot of some sort....

Only prediction I would make is that I think we will finish on a strong run.
Whether that's to avoid relegation, get a European place, a CL place or even under this manager I've no idea.

If the general theme of last season continues across the league....it doesn't take much to have a late run into 4th, 5th, 6th

12th for me. I think Fernandes and Marmoush will elevate us compared to the past few seasons, but we don't have that sort of quality in other positions. Goalscoring and defending still both worry me

Are you ready for this kind of season? I am but I don't think most of the fan base is. I think they want to see us in and around 5th for the majority of the season. I just can't see that happening.

I think it might play out a little better and sooner than you suggest but I do think something around top 8 in the end is a reasonable target.

I don't see a lot of goals or clean sheets in this team, i think we'll end up lower mid table.

Given the approach to the window that will feel like being a bit short-changed and i don't expect the atmosphere to be accepting/understanding

In think it's impossible to predict anything. I chose mid-table mediocrity not because I am confident that we can and will achieve it but because I'll take anything other than the threat of relegation. I guess it's the product of a combination of the last few seasons and my natural pessimism but I can see more weaknesses than strengths at the moment.

This season, we will finish in whatever place in the league gets Europa Conf League. We are then going to win that in 27/28, the EL in 28/29 and by 29/30 we will be double PL and CL winners. Get ready for the ride.

I would take a solid 8th or 9th this season and be happyish. Realistically new team, new way of playing (RDZ was clear no play style change last season), getting some injured players back. Move into next summer with a plan for CF, RB and whatever else this season identifies.
I think anything above that, we have clicked earlier then I expected and have done well, anything below 12/13th and we have a right to ask questions. 8-10 players in, the same out is the true definition of transition

Pretty much my thoughts as well, we have splashed the cash for sure which is a good thing, the down side is that it may/will take time for the new players to obtain some degree of settling into a pattern. Looking forward to it though.

Injuries will determine the season

- Keep Savio, Fernandes, Marmoush, Udogie, VDV fit
- Get back Kudus, Maddison, Deki

Will be difference between mid-table and Europe.

If we are not in top half by December (or worse, even lower), the pressure on RDZ is going to be immense. His fate will also be hugely impacted by home form, can't be in Dec/Jan with two home wins ..

I have learnt my lesson after over 60 years of supporting spurs trying to predict where we will finish, we seem to be a club that sometimes amazes us at times but in other years they dissapoint us. I think we have had a great window [ but as supporters we will always say we needed this player or that player as well]. We have signed some good players for sure allthough most of us will say we needed at least one more;).

At the end of the day we will have to see where we go with this team. C0YS.
