It’s my silly game to say that I think signing players who have already proven they can handle the pace and physicality of the PL is less of a gamble? I’m not sure what even makes that a game, let alone a silly one?

I thought the silly game was naming selective players to try to prove/disprove the above but I suppose the rules for this silly game are set by you

We have all rubbed each other up the wrong way on here at times and some will come on and gloat...........I like to think I am an honest bloke and I have done it on here massively.

But lets not reduce it down to this

Those wages that produce players that work.............you should look to buy the players first, not look at the wages..........sounds abit moneyball but its right.

Hmmm….I think I probably am saying that to be honest!

Like I get more goes into it. They have to be right for the system. They have to compliment each other. They have to have the right attitude. But fundementally I am way happier signing these players than I was before, and as long as we can sustainably afford the wages, I want to keep signing these sorts of players where we can and when we need.
