Plenty of sports people have said no to have anything to do with trump. Lots of Champions from NBA, NFL, Olympics University winners have not gone to the white house.

No, I know but it was a response to Luton saying it would take courage not to, I was just highlighting that there were courageous people out there. Kane isn't American or political but he also would have been aware of the optics and to me anyone who happily plays golf or engages with trump is soiled by association.
Edit: just to say I have no idea what Kane's political leanings are and he may, perhaps through his New England Patriot ties with Brady, Kraft and Belichick, be in favour of the current administration.

I know a lot of NBA teams refused to stay at Trump hotels when they were on the road. Probably still the case I’d imagine.
