Finney Is Back
Jimmy Cantrell
So first one nothing to do with legs having gone.He will be the first player in history to beat father time, its not against logic to know his best years are behind him. I can't remember Redknapp making that kind of signing TBH, maybe he did, for me it goes back to the days of when we singed players like Poyet in the 90s and they were good for a few games then ultimately they got leggy.
He is a winner, he has a great mentality, so if the theory of having winners in the dressing room helps (I don't buy it once they have had their best days gone) then fine, but honestly its a signing thats not for me.
Its not turning a nose up, its just not seeing the game the same
There will always be fans who are clueless (my friends who I trust say he has regressed) but a look at some of their forums and it doesn't make great reading:

Thats just three of upteen opinions.
Look he will get my support when here, but I am faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from convinced
Second one, who knows?
Third one says he still brings a lot to the team.
Of course his best years are behind him but all we need to consider is whether he will improve our squad. I think he will and I think he’ll be first choice but time will tell.
