That's my hope.
But he's hardly played any minutes or been mentioned by RDZ.
I think is a summer where he'll need to step up and make himself part of the plans. I wouldn't be surprised if he's currently on the "maybe" list

Said earlier in the thread he was the type of player we missed in our CM, someone who will win the ball and then pass it on and his covering of opponents runs . I was really excited when we first signed him as we really needed a player of his ability in our CM who could see danger before it happened. Well he has done that and on top of that he has scored his fair share of goals.

Aye, I guess it depends on what we prioritise. I like Gomes for his better defensive game coupled with his carrying of the along with his still pretty good passing range and accuracy. Wharton is stronger in the passing sense but hes not as good positionally imo or in 1 v 1s. Ederson is the all rounder between them and hes the one i've wanted us to get for years (as you know) alas that chance has probably passed so hopefully its between the other two options.

All three are good DM all rounders with strengths in slightly different areas but I think all 3 would work very well under De Zerbi.
