Ok just wondered whether it would affect the judgement on Chelsea, I think it’s borderline. I’m late 40’s and remember Chelsea as a yo-yo club then bates and Harding bank rolling them to the point of extermination, before Roman swooped in and saved the day.40 next month

The spending WAY beyond their means started long before Roman and took them from that yo-yo status to a European team.
I just don’t respect that model
In the late 70s through to mid 90s, Chelsea were a tinpot club. That's a fact.

Roberto de Zerbi: Tottenham boss says rival fans wanting Spurs down is motivation
Tottenham boss Roberto de Zerbi says rival fans willing the club to be relegated from the Premier League acts as a "big motivation" to stay up.www.bbc.com
he's a smart guy for sureReally says the right things .. it's normal, everyone wants to see big teams fail (implies we are big), it's motivation for players
Yeah, if he can do this with our injury plagued squad, think what he can do with some quality additions, and a large squad to cover our consistent injuries. Not going to relax until we get 1 more point. But he’s done brilliantly so far and I think he’s the right manager for us. He has a chip on his shoulder. It’s what we need. We need to back him.
