OMT Badgers vs Eagles

OK, my side as of right now (revision from earlier in the week)

Vicario

Porro
Danso
VdV
Souza

Sarr
Gray

Tel
Xavi
Richy

Dom

Subs: Kinsky, Muani, Gallagher, Palhinha, Dragusin, Bissouma + da kidz

Sarr and Biss would also work, but truth be told, I trust Archie a lot more.

Let’s be honest. That side, on paper, is absolutely NOT a side who should in any way be relegated. Even the bench has decent enough options.

Right now this is ALL about mentality and confidence; and it has to come from the players themselves because I don’t know if we have the staff around them to ‘conjure’ that a la Poch, Redknapp type figures.

I’m sticking by 3-1 us if Tudor doesn’t do stupid things like play Solanke deep and puts that side out. COYS.

I like that line up. Mostly square pegs in square holes, no clever experiments, just our best available players in their best available positions.

My only concern is the defensive solidity of that midfield. Would consider Paulinha for Sarr.

Indeed, I just think we have to go for it. At some point we have to test those ‘go for it’ waters and given we have Forest and Leeds at home to come (massive games too) this is possibly our last chance to see if emancipation from caution is the way.

The commentator said that it was very rare for Fulham not to score at home... as Wet Spam manage to easily keep them out, whereas Spurs made them look a decent side. Bah, we are so down.

Crowd need to be loud and behind the team from the off tomorrow, the team will feed on it.

Equally the team need to come flying out the blocks to get the crowd on board.

Booing at halftime is not what we need right now
The players need to show some gonads first and foremost.

The crowd have done their job lately, the atmosphere at the Woolwich derby for instance was great (killed slightly by the long delays) and even at Fulham the away fans sang till the end. If anything these players don’t deserve the support they’ve had so far, though of course I’m not saying that support should stop.

The crowd will make plenty of noise, with this run of form, for me, first and foremost these players need to show that they actually give a toss about the club - the pathetic, gutless lack of effort needs to stop.

Where are all the Facebook fans groups with their Tifos and what-not now? Happy to make the effort for the glamour games but the real important games it's radio silence

Tonight's results haven't been kind to us. It's a shame but a win tomorrow could still completely change our momentum.

In fairness, we've had several results go for us already with those two when they've deserved more than they've had.
It is still about us...which is a double-edged sword isn't it!

I can’t watch tomorrow. If we get anything out of the game I vow to not watch another second of us live again this season. I’m calling on all my long standing superstitions

They made a few changes from against us, couple of their best players on the bench and only came on after an hour.

So would i.

Forest have three winnable matches in their next 4. I can’t see how we beat them when they have as much character and team spirit as they show.

Nottingham Forest’s next four league matches
Fulham (H)
Us (A)
Villa (H)
Burnley (H)

IF we win tomorrow then Leeds are dragged into it. But I have zero confidence right now.

Get the feeling it will be half empty - sub 50K if the stories out today are true. I think it will be a bit higher but the team need to give them something to cheer, even just closing down and putting a few tackles in would help.

If Souza is anywhere near as good as he's looked, that's a decent defence. Think I'd have someone more experienced in the middle but I guess we've rolled the dice on kids before (Mason and Bentaleb) and it paid off. Up top, I think there's creativity and goals there. Like that team @thfcsteff. There's more than enough there to win the game.

COYS
