OMT Badgers vs Eagles

I agree with this except I wouldn't play 3 DMs. I'd have Gray as the holder, Sarr as the engine and Simons as the playmaker.

I'd bring Pahlinha on a 70 minutes to kill the game if we are ahead or clinging to a draw, but I wouldn't use him in a situation where we are wanting to be front-footed. His transitioning and breaking are just too slow
I agree with this. The extra protection isn't helping.... We need legs in the middle and able to transition.

However, I would think about Palinha at centre back, or in for Gray. He just has a hunger about him

I listened to a LOT of podcasts today.
One (I think it was The Extra Inch) was saying that Tudor employed a man-to-man marking system against Fulham, to the extent that our players would follow Fulham players all over the pitch and thus we were pulled well out of shape e.g. Dragusin chasing someone all the way up the pitch.

I guess, Romero also does that kind of thing when he plays.
Due to this system we were very unsure who should be in which position and Fulham found pockets of space... although I would have thought that if we played a clear man-to-man marking system it would be obvious who should be marking Iwobi as he scores the second, etc.

Has that been discussed on here somewhere?

Played it Vs played it well are two very different things

Two wins in 19 league matches. Fail to make it three on Thursday and we may just have to turn off our Premier League lights.

It’s shocking how it’s come to this.

I don’t have any faith that we will beat Crystal Palace even if I feel we have a good record against them.

I think Richarlison MUST start. And I’d not play any player who isn’t fully committed at this point. We need every player fighting for the cause. If they don’t fancy the battle then they can stay at home even if it means a bench full of kids.

This current lot couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag tbh..
(Mind you, it's been like this for years now so can't blame just them)

We could start with a five goal advantage and I'd still have zero confidence that we'd win.

Unlikely as it may seem, a win could put us 7 points clear of Wet Spam and would be a huge step towards safety. It won't be pretty but on current form, Palace aren't much better than some of the teams we beat in the Champions League.

I think this is a must win. If we don’t I’m not sure where I see a turning point in the season.

Liverpool away next and they’re playing poorly, but based on this season we’re the perfect opponents for that. Stick 3 past us and it’s back to everything being rosey.

Richarlison has to start. He’s got the fight in him. He's a good CF when played in a 2 up top. I want to see Tel too. Still raw but at least he’s positive

Richarlison isn't a great player by any means, but he looks like the kind of guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and you can see he cares about our current predicament. I've reached the point where the club's situation is bugging me all day and if we are to go down, I'd rather it were with limited players leaving everything on the pitch than with a team of 'passengers'.

Could not agree more about Richarlson, he may not be the best player and we all know his fitness problems, however he is the type of player would would run through brick walls for us.
