I think what's interesting is that of all the managers you name, I believe I'm right in saying that only two did not improve upon what their predecessors had done in their first season. Conte improved on Nuno (or even Mourinho if we're going to be fair), Ramos improved on Jol (in respect of the fact he won a trophy), Jol improved on Santini, and even AVB improved on their predecessor in their first season (albeit AVB only did because of the bizarreness that saw 4th not be enough for CL in Redknapp's final year - I still think we should've got 3rd but that's another conversation).
