That pass wasn’t on. He had time to do almost anything else.

It's an unfortunate feature of the modern game that CB's spend the most time on the ball and are played to be playmakers.
 
Today the players have wiped me out. Neither Xavi or Romero were under pressure and have probably lost us the game. After Gray's error last week. I'm not sure why we are making so many individual errors.

He's playing the creative playmaker role, that's what they do. They play dangerous passes that aren't always on. Don't blame the player because he's doing what we are asking him to do.

The problem is that's he's a fudging CB being forced to do it!
 
Apart from that one Romero pass........ I think we've looked decent.

Knee jerkers will say we are brick and going down, but we've looked decent and hit the bar!

Nah we take it to another level, most other teams actually have passers in midfield so a ball playing CB is a bonus. For us it's the bloody default.
