It's a tough city when you're struggling. This loan could stall his development, I'd get him back asap.
Hopefully we have a January recall clause
Why? He's playing. He sinks or swims. It's experience. The pressure and expectations in the prem are no less.
I don’t completely disagree, but the way Rangers are shaping up it’s not exactly looking the best place to be at the moment. Might also end up changing manager no guarantee a new one would play him. Why? He's playing. He sinks or swims. It's experience. The pressure and expectations in the prem are no less.

YepThere's no guarantee of any player playing. They have to force their way into the team. Team playing well or playing badly, it's experience for him.
Yeah, I'd much rather see him on the bench here than on the bench in Rangers. And we really should have loaned him out a division below. See how well Nypan (same age) is coming along at Middlesbrough (another one we let slip).Hopefully we have a January recall clause
He won’t even make our bench here. If he can’t force his way from the bench into the starting line-up of a not particularly good Rangers team then he is not (yet) good enough for PL football. IMO this period of difficulty will be really good for him.Yeah, I'd much rather see him on the bench here than on the bench in Rangers. And we really should have loaned him out a division below. Yep
I think these kind of loans are better than it all going well
Kane thrived be sure he learned from every loan
Spence has done the same thing
Mason cites his Liam in France as the one and he barely played

Couldn't disagree more with everything written above. He's obviously a good player, what he needs is experience of playing with men so that it feels normal, and he's not getting that on a bench. We should be sending players to lower league clubs, like Abbott, Keeley etc. Then the next season can be a loan at a club he needs to 'force his way into', to find out how good he is.
Good or bad? It's one thing have 5 or 6 thousand fans thinking you're useless it's an other having half a city. He has no family or mates to go home to, I wouldnt want one of my grandkids in that situation.
Personally I think there is more to who makes it or not than starting for this and that. Players are so alike today and the level is so... level. Rangers may not be very good, but the main problem the way I see it is that the league isn't very competitive. There are also factors like management, training regime etc., some coincidences and a fair bit of luck that can make or break a career. I don't know about this in particular at Rangers, but the championship IS competitive, higher intensity and the most like the PL. But that's only my opinion. He won’t even make our bench here.
