You are not clear. What have I flip flopped on? You are surprised that I am displeased with Ange for taking the Forest job? How is that inconsistent with being in favour of him carrying on managing Spurs?
Honestly, read your post again. It comes across like Ange won us a cup and that’s it. Just because he took what managers do in the world of football. It’s quite simple. Vs you fawning over him not so long ago.

So what exactly have I flip flopped on? That he is not a good manager? Do I think Ange shouldnt have taken the Forest job? Yes I think he shouldnt.

The additional point was that when Forest faces up to Spurs - there should be no holds barred. He won us a trophy and now he is managing a club in the same league which means when we face each other, he is now going to be the enemy.

It’s quite obvious really. On how much you loved Ange and defended him even though he was pants. To him taking a job, in your words all he did was win a cup (taking back from how much you lauded him).

He’s now the enemy? Jeez how old are you? Am I wasting my time here?

I didn’t like him as a spurs manager but respect him enough not to call him the enemy for winning us a trophy. Vs you blindly making excuses for him and now he’s the enemy for taking a vacant post.

Honestly. What a headache.

Don't ever google Joe Lewis/Argentina

Jesus!!!! I just did!!!!!! Holy brick. Having been to Patagonia a couple of times, I found this especially bracing...funny, whenever I have been there (and BTW I have always had a great time and loved it) I feel the sadness of its recent past (you can put Chile in that category and then some)...it is a timely reminder of somethiong I fiercely maintain as a solid impregnable truth. No multi-millionaire got there without either some kuntiness or without being a sociopath. To your (I believe?) implied point, no professional football club opwner at this level has clean hands, it's just a case of whether you consider horse brick cleaner than pig brick...

Are you ok? Any club facing Spurs for me is an enemy. Or does the word enemy mean that you hate the person? Or does it mean that you recognise that you are going to be opponents? Why would I hate Ange over him taking a job? Hate someone over football?

I think you need to calm the eff down and realise that you are so wrong in your reading of my post that you are having delusions in your mind of some bipolar person. No wonder you are having a headache.

Simply put Forest and Ange are now opponents / enemies of Spurs ditto the other 18 clubs in the EPL. In your head you think this means something else. You are taking this way too seriously. Way way too serious to be asking me my age? What is the matter with you?

Thanks for the diagnosis Dr Nick Riviera and I enjoyed your Homer Simpson deflection. Anyway yes

It is an unbelievable appointment in many ways and not in others...I absolutely cannot see it working out well...

It's a bit of desperation by Ange I think

I'm not sure many other clubs would have taken a punt on him so if he wanted to stay in the PL his options are limited.

There was talks of Leeds a while back, but they have a weak squad, so would be a struggle to keep them up.

It's not a good fit if he doesn't change, but he might have learnt from his time here

If we assume he's going to use the same tactics etc, he will be asking the CBs to currently position themselves were wood does under Nuno , the push up is that much.

Surely he wouldn't come in and change that completely

Not sure why it's desperation from Ange - According to people on here the fact it was apparently Saudis etc interested in him, that showed his level. Now a decent PL club has come in for him it's desperation?

It's no different to Conte or Jose coming here when they weren't the right fit, managers follow the money and believe their methods can work whether they go, I wouldnt call it desperate....

I am genuinely fascinated by his appointment. Think Forest are making a mistake with Nuno after what he achieved there last season. But will be interested to see if Ange's struggles with us in the league last season were just an outlier or does his style of play leave his teams massively exposed at the back which teams in the PL will expose ruthlessly? Personally I think it's the latter but will keep an open mind. Plus hope he beats Arsenal in his first game.
It will be interesting for sure. So many times before I've seen various assumptions about managers being made with the masses announcing what a disastrous appointment it is and they've been proven wrong. Who knows if this will be one such time, will certainly be curious to see how gung ho he is with a squad not as strong as ours and European football to contend with too - but whatever happens good luck to him....
