Van der Vaart talked 30 minutes with Levy today and asked him to let him leave, according to "Bild". Levy reportedly still wants €18m.

Also says this
@messerp1 Van der Vaart has very strong links to Bild. Other media confirmed it.

VDV needs to stay.

Looks like things arent progressing as we hoped, need more movement today. Dont want to leave things to last day panic tomorrow.

It's a hard act to follow :D . Gutted that Kaboom is out though, I thought he was our best player last season. As others have said, you never know how long it will be before he comes back - I remember Modric being out for a 'few weeks' and he turned up three and a half months later for a match.

Seems like it is only at L'Arse that players make a miraculous recovery!

I read originally that Kaboul was only out for one game, then it has transpired he has had surgery, now it seems he will be out for 4 months (at least).

We surely cant get rid of Daws at such a time.

Not heard a single quote apart from Hamburg making noise that supports the VDV rumours. Personally can't see him going unless we got something else significant lined up.
