Dejan Kulusevski

The source of this is an off cuff remark by the Swedish national manager that he wouldnt be back for them till the new year. But as international teams dont play between October and March, that just means he isnt expecting him back for the October fixtures.

The Spurs line has always been late summer/early autumn anyway, so i dont think anything has changed

You don't know the basis for The Guardian's story. Sweden have two world cup qualifiers in November: 15th November away to Switzerland and 19th November home to Slovenia. So would appear the national manager's commenrs put his likely return to fitness into the end of the year at the earliest.

That's a terrible piece of journalism, no quotes, no sources, not even a "we understand".
In fact it spends longer going over our transfer issues than it does on kulu.
Feels more like someone stirring the brick than anything else.

I'm more worried about what GB said about the quote from the Swedish national team manager. If they don't expect him to play in 2025 that does take him past late November.

Maybe it's play for them, not match fit enough to be in their plans.
I mean who knows. To be honest and as we've seen with Maddison once you've had a serious knee injury you're never fully right. Did my ACL aged 23. Appreciate probably didnt get the advanced treatment and therapy these guys get but then again I dont subject it to the stress these guys do. Still gives me grief to this day never been fully right. I don't think we will be able to count on Maddison or Deki fitness wise, nor Romero or VDV. These serious injuries never fully heal, scar tissue builds up, excess bone, nerve receptors are irritated. The biggest f*ck up legacy we will be left with from Ange's time is the number of serious injuries suffered by key members of our squad. I predict none of VDV, Romero, Deki or Maddison ever play what you'd class as a full season for us again.

The Sweden manager was responding to a question about his availability for next month’s fixtures. He said no it’s too soon. There was no mention of the rest of the year
