Bissouma had a cracking ten games under Ange but after that he looks far too inconsistent and lacks getting a grip of the game. I’m not so sold on himBissouma is better, the same age, and free
I think he'd be worth seeing in a competent tactical setup (and in a double pivot). He was a great player at BrightonBissouma had a cracking ten games under Ange but after that he looks far too inconsistent and lacks getting a grip of the game. I’m not so sold on him
I think it’s a huge gamble keeping him in the hope he coms good consistentlyBissouma had a cracking ten games under Ange but after that he looks far too inconsistent and lacks getting a grip of the game. I’m not so sold on him
Wharton is the best player in the league in that position (imo). Presumed he was completely out of our reach, but would be an amazing signing (if it doesn’t mean we have no budget for elsewhere)Seems like we are all in on Wharton. Rumours of several bids made already. I doubt we could pull it off but good to know it's a position we are looking at (If it's true anyway)
What if it means we sign Wharton, kudus and a few kidsWharton is the best player in the league in that position (imo). Presumed he was completely out of our reach, but would be an amazing signing (if it doesn’t mean we have no budget for elsewhere)
I think most fans would be delighted with that. Although I suppose most would want a ready to go Romero replacement and not rely on the promising youngsters we have at CBWhat if it means we sign Wharton, kudus and a few kids
But sell Romero, Richy and a few other fringe players
I’d be happy with that but think our fan base would revolt
We have that in dansoI think most fans would be delighted with that. Although I suppose most would want a ready to go Romero replacement and not rely on the promising youngsters we have at CB
Danso, VdV, Dragusin, Davies and then the kids... Seems alright, but would weaken us quite a bit unless someone really steps up (Danso, Dragusin or one of the younger players). Particularly when we get an injury or two. Though think Dragusin will do better under Frank than Ange.We have that in danso
You and your Twitter rumoursSeems like we are all in on Wharton. Rumours of several bids made already. I doubt we could pull it off but good to know it's a position we are looking at (If it's true anyway)
I think Danso will fit in perfectly and we will soon forget Romero, people talk like he is the KDB at the back, he gives the ball away with stupid passes at least twice a game in dodgy positions.
I don’t want a replacement because we haven’t seen what we actually have.Danso, VdV, Dragusin, Davies and then the kids... Seems alright, but would weaken us quite a bit unless someone really steps up (Danso, Dragusin or one of the younger players). Particularly when we get an injury or two. Though think Dragusin will do better under Frank than Ange.
Add ballplaying quality in midfield and elsewhere to compensate for losing Romero. Not sure it overall makes us stronger. I would prefer a direct replacement at a very high level if we lose Romero, but another Danso/Dragusin level player isn't needed. So if a top level replacement isn't possible rather get some top level quality elsewhere with qualities we're currently short on.
Henceforth he shall be known as The Aussie SandwichI agree Sando will probably eventually do well...
