Michael Dawson

DO NOT SELL DAWS.

it would be a massive mistake imo and come back to haunt us. He always gives his all for Spurs and is more than decent back up.

£5.5m is a joke. we'd never get in a similar/better replacement for anything like that amount.

As much as I like Dawson that is a lousy reason to keep a player

I know it's a totally irrational thing to say, but when someone who earns more in a week than you'd earn in a year takes an interest in you, is happy to give you an autograph and pose for your photos, it elevates them to a different level in my book. However, you are quite right with your reply ;)

If not this summer, then next. Gallas only has a year left if i recall correctly.

We were interested in that kid Lascelles. I'd like us to bring in another older head as a replacement for Gallas next summer to provide some experience.

Same.

Younger, fitter, and more likely to throw himself in-front of impending danger.

Gallas was probably the better footballer in his time, no doubt. But that time is done.

So would I but AVB needs to be given a chance to mold his squad and I would much rather Daws and Hudd got a chance to leave now with their heads held high than be ostracised.

If we expect AVB to be backed in the transfer market we must also accept that some players have to leave.
