it would be a massive mistake imo and come back to haunt us. He always gives his all for Spurs and is more than decent back up.

I know it's a totally irrational thing to say, but when someone who earns more in a week than you'd earn in a year takes an interest in you, is happy to give you an autograph and pose for your photos, it elevates them to a different level in my book. However, you are quite right with your reply

We were in the title race in January! Now it looks like Dawson and Hudd might not be here soon, and still no replacement for Modric.

Not sure why this is relevant for Hudd and Dawson.. If i recall correctly they spent most of last season injured.
