Mighty Spurs vs Everton

Much easier for Royal to come into this team than unsettle 2 positions by moving the very reliable Davies to give someone a debut.
Not if Royal offers absolutely nothing at LB other than causing confusion and potentially havoc at times playing on a side he is unaccustomed too.

I would have pushed Davies to LB and brought Dorrington or Phillips or even Dier into the side.

Yep Davies has done well at centre back and cannot do the all out LB role that Udogie does but Emerson offers absolutely nothing at LB apart from awkwardness and he will understandably struggle a lot imo.
What's your obsession with throwing kids into a game from the start, before they prove themselves, instead of easing them in with a few mins at the end of games?

Surely you have seen enough of our system and also the player to know he won't be unaccustomed to playing there? With Ange's fullbacks the need to be "sided", ie left or right back is virtually nil, as they spend most of their time in central positions.

Think you're being a tad dramatic on this one. Sure it's preferable to have a left footed player out there as Royal will mainly be cutting in but it's not a problem if Son stays out wide.

He's bring his energy and defensive tenacity to the team, not sure why you're harping on about him offering nothing but confusion / havoc. Fair play for continuing the Dorrington comedy bit though.

Moving Davies after his recent performances at CB and replacing him with a rookie against a team who will dominate in the air, it must be difficult to type that out with a straight face but as ever you got a couple of posters reeled in so well done.

Hope Richy can continue his form and grab one today, I'm guessing he's still got a lot of time for Everton and a good relationship with the fans. We always have former players score against us, it'd be lovely to get one go the other way.

Skipps got to see this opening in the team as a big opportunity today, it's a great chance to prove he is more than homegrown filler.
