***TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR vs West Ham United OMT***

PEH and Kulusevski very poor, Bryan far too lightweight for the Premier league too.
Moved the ball very well in the first half but some of our players aren't good enough

Looks like 'fans' have decided Kulu is the object of blame. He wasn't terrible first half and is just out on his feet.

Losing to anti-footballing scum is a cheat. But we cheated ourselves. The two players we needed more from is Johnson, who lacks confidence and fluidity, and Richarlison who's the same. Blaming Kulu is cheap shot based on his shattered play at the end. He's run his socks off and yes he might have put in more first time balls. But to blame him is unfair.

So fudging disappointing after that first half. fudge. We're just not good enough against a low block without someone like Maddison. Not enough movement or creativity around the box. And we fudging lose yet another home game. Miserable. fudge.

Ffs it's tough at the moment.. It's not like we are not creating chances. But snatch at them they do. Tame shots, bad crosses, terrible terrible wide play. Not taking chances.

Johnson was always involved but the quality not showing. Kulu, it's constant. He is so so predictable.. Son not getting the inter play he likes with Madison etc.

Sad.

Is that the first side we have come up against under Ange that properly park the bus?

Would be interested to know if we have properly prepared and trained yet for facing such a tactic as we looked totally clueless in the final third. I cannot believe the tactic was to cut in at every opportunity and try and go through the middle yet that is what we did time and again.

Very strange because normally we are in part all about going wide and crossing and that should be even more the case against a low block.

The few times we did it with Porro for example we nearly scored or forced an error on west ham’s part.

A really weird performance from us.

I did say during the match that just throwing crosses in isn't going work. It's a very old school idea and we don't have the forward players to take advantage of that kind of playback evidenced in the latter half of the 2nd half when that's all we did.

What we actually need are a better standard of wing forward. None of the ones we start seem able to do all three of these things beating a man, playing the final ball or fashioning chances for themselves. A top WF does this and we have to be honest we don't have a top quality WF and it's where our attack falls down, add to that without Maddison and Sarr we lack attacking thrust and passing incision.

I don't want to say it's fine but honestly it's the first season and it's going to take time to bud the kind of squad necessary to play the way Ange needs them to play.

We had 23 shots. Creativity is not the problem.

We created enough to score 2 goals. And West Ham’s goals came from an insane bit of luck, and a mistake out of nowhere from Udogie. Don’t think the overall performance was the issue.
