Championship and EFL Football

So Ipswich, what do we reckon? The real deal, genuine promotion push?

McKenna’s done a great job there, they were in the gutter when he arrived. Got them on an amazing run going back to something like Feb / March.

Great start carrying on with the momentum from the end of last season
It's a long long season though

Swindon ending Ben Fosters career....

Underated keeper imo and he was the reason we lost the 2009 final, we were all over them and Foster had a great game pulling off save after save. The game went to penaltys and he saved two of them and was named MOM. Never forgot that.

Wasn't that the famous penalty takers on yhe water bottle day

Great little BBC show on iplayer called Boot Dreams about players released trying to get back in the game. Recommended

Jack Clarke with another 2 goals tonight! Seems to be the main star up at Sunderland now

Just came to say that, I think he just needed a few more years longer to reach his potential. We were right to sell him, but he will hopefully go on to be a top level player. I actually think Sessegnon if he was not a crock would benefit from a loan to the championship.

If they, Sunderland, don’t get promoted this season. Wonder if we might be interested in Jobe Bellingham next summer. Would imagine he’d have a few suitors. Been having a good season so far.

Clarke seems to be having a blinder.

He is. His move was clearly too early for him. Plus I think he’d had a bad injury at Leeds which didn’t help.
Will be interesting to see him step up to the Prem again. Probably not on of the top teams though.
Although the way our injuries are going, could do with him at the moment!

Currently cheering for three clubs in the Championship. Plymouth - GrrreeenARRRmy! - because we were treated so well on a holiday in the area many years back. Love the pirate accents, too. Preston Norf End because they have similar kits to us and a proper history. And Millwall because they were where Kane spent some development time there and because they hate West Ham.

He was one of the best players in our U21 team when he was here, but didn't get a chance in first team, just games in the "great rotation swindle" teams.

I hate that decent managers getting sacked for big names seems to fly under the radar. Birmingham sacking someone off the back of a big win, sitting in play offs and its all ok as its ROONEY

Previous owner tried the same thing in 2016. Sacked a manager doing well to bring in Zola. They've only now started to recover and here we go again.
