Only 0-1 in injury time because of all the time wasting, thankfully the injury time was added on correctly in the 2nd half as appose to the 1st.

created loads of good opportunities and positions, final shots or decisions were terrible, but we were camped in their 18 yard box 2nd half.

I’m amazed anyone could watch that game and think we didn’t deserve the win, amazed.

Solomon and deki probed and were dangerous all game. I felt for Son because there is no space in behind and around the box so your relying on inch perfect service and unfortunately SU seemed to get anything they could on every cross and pass, by design and luck.

I thought we were excellent TBH, can say it now without being bitter, the ref was also terrible. Penalty and keeper being off, especially with time wasting, the cynical pulls back and tugs, pushes. It was maybe the worse loss of control of a game I've seen in some time

I do think we deserved to win, however it's lucky to do so it the manner we did.

What worries me is the refs are getting worse every game, with the next two games I really don't see it getting any better.
 
Good result, Solomon lacks quality at the moment and kulu despite his goal looked quite predictable... great effort all around.

We have played some pretty poor sides. Brentford maybe the best? A game where we had a harsh pen against Son. We had two pen appeals today that were clearer fouls than Sons. Had VAR not ruled that Brentford contact a pen we’d be 100% in the PL! Which would flatter us. Truth is we’ve played some bang average sides and are work in progress.
 
Surprised some on here and Efen fudging Ekoku think we were a bit lucky.
We've absolute battered them today, maybe the shooting was a bit off but how many times did they get last ditch blocks in, how much time wasting that really broke up our rythm, how many times did the ref not seem to know what he was doing!

Funnily enough I haven't been impressed with anyone. Liverpool can't defend, Utd can't defend or attack. Arteta needs to stop trying to out smart himself and Howe is looking to get sacked.

City will just cruise to the title.
 
It's very satisfying to win when a team plays like that. It's obviously a tactic from the coach. Time waste whenever possible, go down easy and cramp up. Slow subs, keeper dying every single touch.

I could see why it players wanted to do it after we went 2-1 up. But Ange was having none of it. Told them to get up, press and push forward. Was nice to see.

We totally deserved that win. We was all over them and found a way through.

Very happy for Richarlison. A goal and an assist. That will help him a lot.. And get back to basics. He shaved the blonde off. Good job.
 
Ha ha what a result. If we had lost at least we went for it the whole game. A year ago we would not have got that result because first there would only been a max of 3 minutes added on and secondly if we had equalised the manager would have shut up shop instead of going for it. They should replay this game to all the cynical time wasters and see what happens. Its probably one of the only recent rule changes that has been good to see the time wasters get whats coming to them.
Oh and the ref was very weak today, all those yellow cards and hardly any bad tackles in the game. I know most were for dissent or little niggly fouls but it really did not warrant that many
