Why? You have always backed levy to the hilt ... surely not just one more manager gaff will make an ounce of difference?

Dont confuse me/others defending the club/Levy on issues that i think they deserve defence on or generally thinking that for the most part their reign here has been positive over the long term, with being some kind of Levy cheerleader - owners are businessmen, not footballers or managers etc eg the people who you actually have support for when it comes to football. I think a lot of the criticism that gets directed at the board is ill informed BS and i will continue to think that no doubt moving forwards however i can not and have not defended a lot of the big decisions made post stadium move - allowing the relationship with Poch to sour, backing the squad quality over the painful rebuild, sacking Poch 14 games in to a season post CL final to appoint fudging Jose Mourinho, keeping him in the job longer than he should have, courting Conte who it was clear as day to anyone with half a brain was going to be a repeat of Mourinho, appointing Nuno only to end up with Conte anyway and then finally this absoloute clusterfudge of a situation we find ourselves right now - it has been bad decision after bad decision since we left WHL and i said as much when we chased after Conte - i said Levy had to get it right otherwise I'm going to find it hard to defend, and here we are.

So right now it's a two fold issue, not only has he brought us to this juncture with poor managerial decisions, stretching back 3 or 4 years, we're also seeing Pochettino, a man i actually do support (as much/more than any player or manager throughout my life time) join one of our arch rivals and we seemingly haven't even bothered our arses to try and get him back - and you just know we're going to appoint some fudging no mark in the hope that they turn out to be another Pochettino, rather than you know getting the man himself, who's sat around without a job. fudging joke

Nail in the coffin for me

A lot of this doesn't make any sense to me.
That's probably me though.
Players committee, wtaf.
And peh on it, i mean ffs.
No contact with poch, at all, really!
If the players have any pull and aren't saying get poch then i can't see kane joining him at Chelsea. Why not just tell levy that's who we want, get it done.
I wonder what Levy's reaction will be if the fans start signing about a Chelsea manager being magic. That's not a good optic.
Levy better hope whoever he gets in hits the ground running, because if we have an early season game at Stamford Bridge next season chernobyl will have nothing on the toxic atmosphere.

fudging PEH in a position of strength is just the cherry on the top today - no wonder the clubs fudged when losers like him and Dier our the squad leaders

The only thought I've had is if there's a coup up his sleeve. A manager so good that no one has even speculated it.

But the truth is there isn't anyone. None of Guardiola, Klopp, Simone, Ancelotti etc. would be as good as Poch. There's just no logic to this at all (unless it is all just the ultimate Willian payback and the gazump news is about to break).

I’m referring to the toxicity in the stands. It will be magnified by about a 1000. I could see fans rioting and invading and smashing up lilywhite house at the united game for example.

And I dont condone that of course, in fact it would obviously be absolutely wrong for that to happen but at the same time I 100% see that occurring sadly.
They can't organize more than 20 people to protest outside wherever they are protesting. You really think fans are going to start smashing stuff up?

I've always been one of levy staunchest defenders and don't blame him for not appointing poch, but to not even talk to him, that's just stupid in so many ways.
I know its twitter, but the tweet about "looking for the next poch", ffs!
That's either being incredibly cheap, pig headed, stupid beyond belief or all three at once.
If this goes wrong there really should not any hiding place for levy.

Absoloutey livid if Poch goes Chelsea and the only thing that will come close to calming me down is if we get Nagelsmann - we end up with some muppet like Rodgers or some no mark from the Dutch league then I'm finished supporting the board.
Nagelsmann I do not see happening, which leads me to believe that it's more than likely going to be Kompany. Fits the profile of a young, progressive, and successful manager, while not being as unknown as Slot.

Although I am secretly hoping we'll get Gallardo completely out of left field.

I’m not talking about the enic out group specifically.

I’m saying under certain circumstances the toxicity within the fan base in general would increase by a massive margin and that could imo turn ugly very quickly.

Good for you if you think otherwise.

It won't be organised. It will be spontaneous. Crowds behave in strange ways when emotions are up. I'm not particularly thinking violence, but some sort of mass civil disobedience could quickly take over
Not a fudging chance
My mates are protesting… by selling their tickets on the exchange as they hate the set up but don’t wanna be out of pocket
Another one is now saying he won’t buy anymore beer in the ground … although it’s cheaper than the local pubs
I mean Ghandi must have been a spurs fan as he too starved himself and believed in peace where everyone could have opportunities

Gallardo is on a sabbatical year. There's no reason that wouldn't have been announced.

90 minutes of full belt "He's Magic"

Everyone turning their backs and making it a big tv spectacle

There's a few things that could quickly take over the crowd.
