Christian Stellini - Acting Head Coach for a small part of the season

It may as well be Conte giving that interview, no ownership from him on the issues, it's everyone else's fault
Players have to shoulder some of the responsibility surely? Especially the senior players. Was it too much to expect some reaction on the pitch to Conte’s stinging criticism? With this bunch it looks like it.

Chances of Levy firing him before the end of the season? I cant imagine that Stellini has any authority with the players. He's a Conte-man and Stellini will be inextricably linked with him, particularly with the temporary nature of caretaker role. Given Conte's comments before he left, I find it hard to see Stellini has the respect of the players

There's no leadership on the pitch and with a caretaker who is only there til he's fired in May, no leadership off it. Unless Levy boots Stellini, it's going to get very ugly between now and May

Question is, who would be stupid enough to come in?

He’s exactly the same as Conte but without the authority. Names the exact same team, no matter what, Subs are reactionary.

Why wouldn’t you be happy to come in, it’s a free hit. Literally no one is going to blame you for anything, all the angst is at Levy and Sanchez.

He’s getting the blame.

Conte got the blame.

Nuno got the blame.

You're possibly right, maybe we're at that stage now. Top 4 feels a long shot and wheels have come off, so Levy/Conte/Stellini will take the grief

Limited to out of work managers though. Would someone leave a role now to join Spurs, assuming their current club has something to play for? Not sure I see it

Players do have some of the responsibility, but all Conte and now Stellini do is put the blame on the players and that to me is not the actions of a proper manager/leader.

Yep, just distances themselves even more from the squad

Had to see how there isn't a huge rift between teh squad and Stellini. He's a Conte-man and his comments tonight about individual mistakes entrench the Conte attitude

Maybe's he's doing it to get a pay off too??

Just saw the Bournemouth manager's interview on the BBC round up of the game. I didn't see it on my stream but he said the Spurs staff went straight down the tunnel without shaking hands.

Maybe to some it's making a mountain out of a molehill and there's plenty of other things to be annoyed about but showing respect and having the ability to show some grace in defeat isn't exactly an unreasonable expectation.

If there was some kind of bust up a la De Zerbi I could understand it but that is disappointing to hear assuming it was a fair reflection of events from O'Neil.

Im pretty sure there was a shot of Mason over by their bench after the final whistle. Adam Smith is his best mate too, so he has even more/a personal reason to not be petulant

Really think we'd be better off getting Stellini out asap.

I'm not sure what good he's doing and I struggle to see how we're better off with him than without him? What does he bring?

Mason was on paternity leave, so there was no one else?

I’m definitely not absolving Conte and Stellini of blame, but the players - especially those who’ve seen off a few managers by now - need to have a long hard look at themselves.

Stellini has no authority. He’s gone in a few weeks and the players know that. It’s a mess.

Yea Mason definitely went over to their bench and Stellini was in the stand so it sounds like the Bournmouth manager got a bit carried away in his excitement.

Maybe he just didnt recognise them and thought Brad Friedel Guy was the gaffer?

Stellini "when you score one, the mindset must be to score one more"

How is he the same guy that was Conte's assistant?

Good to see him be bold and change formation when we went 2 down.
Our squad is a disjointed mess.
Confidence is non existent.
