New Stadium and Training Ground - Pg 104 Northumberland Park master plan

I would think that highly, highly, highly unlikely.

I just can't see why any sponsor would wish to put its name to a stadium which, let's be honest about it, is earmarked for imminent demolition. St James Park secured a naming rights deal as it's not - and probably ever - going to be demolished; more likely expanded.

But Levy is a wheeler-dealer, so I wouldn't put anything past him. This would be quite some stretch though.

it is a possibility though...whoever the sponsor is might want the exposure right now, and is willing to pay for it. A deal is made for the current WHL, and once the new stadium is complete, the sponsorship and name just carries over. All in all, a 15- 20 year deal starting this summer.

I just can't see it. I think too many prospective sponsors would be worried about exposing their brand to any negative perception which would be associated with a demolition project. I think they'd rather get on board when it's a shiny product which is a lot less sensitive and easier to PR manage.

It's not just a demolition project though, it's a rebuilding project. If we keep the name White Hart Lane I don't think the name will at all lose anything by the old stadium being demolished. Similarly I wouldn't think the negative perception would be much to worry about for sponsors. Just guessing though.

Not saying it will happen or that it's even likely, but we're likely to get a lot of media attention when/if we release the plans to rebuild and probably also during the building process. Could be enough attention to warrant paying a bit extra for having the name attacked already then.

If the naming rights and kit sponsorship is rolled into one deal, than it will have to be announced within the next week as something has to be the new kit we're selling on 12th.

WIll it really have to be?

The announcement of the kit is a perfect time to announce the new kit sponsor.

I get the feeling they're trying to get as much transfer stuff done as possible before they tell other teams we've come into money..

Edit: Or that the 'investment' is not 100% complete..

Alright then a question, if you had a to pick a brand/company to sponsor the ground, who would it be based on name alone?

Pen Island would be my pick, for renaming Emirates

Adidas would be my dream sponsor for shirts (i know we have UA now) and stadium. Predator Stadium

Well seeing as i drive a Jag i would'nt mind 'The Jaguar Arena'...or even better would be 'White Hart Lane in Association with Jaguar'

QPR are expected to reveal plans for a new 35,000-seater stadium within weeks.

The Hoops' Loftus Road home is the smallest ground in the top flight with a capacity of just 18,439 and the club have been vocal in their attempts to find a plot of land for a new stadium.

QPR chairman Tony Fernandes revealed this week the club are evaluating three potential sites and yesterday posted via his Twitter account the club have made a "great first step" in its attempts for a new stadium.

Drawings for the new ground are understood to be at an advanced stages and the Rs will make a stadium announcement before the start of the new season.

The plans are likely to be unveiled after QPR return from their pre-season tour in Asia rather than at a press conference on Monday, which many had expected.

On Friday the club invited the national and international media to the event in central London, where they plan to make a major announcement they believe could help turn the club into a "global" brand.

There had been suggestions QPR would reveal a new stadium, although it is instead understood that Manchester United's Park Ji-sung will be unveiled.

The South Korea international is expected to move to Loftus Road for a fee of £2million once the relevant paperwork has been completed.

This Kharafi family who've been linked to take over, have got some % of Krispy Kreme.

New stadium called the Krispy Kreme Ring?

I would have Alfa Romeo

The Alfa Arena - pretty good.

But ultimately

Playboy - welcome to the playboy stadium

Isn't that what it says outside your house?

I wish - but I like to be discrete about my extra curricular activities (or lack of rather)

Playboy Mansion actually. Or we could always get Mansion back and call the stadium 'The Mansion'
