Oh GHod time for me to get shot down in flames here!!!!

I've been told this morning that Harry could potentially become the next Chelsea boss!i have no idea from a club point of view whether Chelsea have been in touch or not but apparently harrys representatives are deep in talks with them and there could be an appointment as early as next week.

He is not happy at all about a rolling deal and his representatives are looking elsewhere.

I'm hoping to get more info this evening which will will tell me if the info is spot on or not.

Roman wont take Harry. They met last year and i know what the clincher for the deal is and it wont happen.
Harry or his agents are saying Chelsea to get some competitive tension going but in reality it wont happen.

JJetset has been dropping little hints today, which have summarised:

Levy and Harry are not getting on
Levy seemingly wants Harry out but his hands are tied by his boss
His Boss, Mr Lewis, also does not get on with Harry

So people are presuming its a compensation thing......if that is the case then they surely won't be offer Harry a new contract, just an extension option at the end of next season if both parties agree, which right now seems unlikely

So we will have Harry next season, but his heart won't be in at as he knows he is not valued enough for a nice shiny new contract

WTF? Joe lewis isnt Levy's boss. Theyre business partners.

After seeing how Redknapps head was turned at the possibility of getting the England job, you really think Levy and his "boss" would let him manage the team a whole season knowing that he won't be there the next season? No amount of compensation is worth a whole seasons worth of brick.

I agree with this, however we have left it a little late.. a number of those 'rumoured' to be on Levy's shortlist have already been snapped up by other clubs..

Should have had a deadline on this of a week maybe two after the CL final, and then either terminated or have him sign the contract..

We will probably pay the price for this sluggishness at some point..

i guess there is that view - but why shouldn't Redknapp give it his all in order to earn that new contract ? if it's said to him "look after the whole England debacle we need convincing that we have your full focus and energy, do well this season and you will get that 3 year contract" or something like that surely that should be motivation to do well ? if someone doesn't take that challenge the right way then they probably aren't the person for the job

what he has achieved so far means little if we can't be sure of his commitment going in to the future

Joe Lewis has 3Billion yet he can't give us ?ú30mill to sign a quality striker.

Can Joe not lend Daniel the ?ú400m for the stadium? What's a few hundred mil between friends anyway.
