Guess we can add Lo Celso to that when he’s fit.

Cant see Lucas wanting to hang around much longer, this is why he left PSG in the first place.

Our squad is simply not built for this system, so if Poch stays it looks like Lucas will follow Eriksen out of the door next year.

With Wanyama crocked I guess Lucas’ place will be taken by another Sissoko type player maybe a Doucoure or someone similar.
 
I watch a fair bit of Bundesliga, and if we come away with anything tonight, I'll be mightily impressed. Bayern have looked strong. The weekends result, 2-3 away at bottom side Padeburg, doesn't really tell the right story. They were in total control, and conceded an unnecessary goal at the end.
We have to perform way better than we have so far this season to get anything.

Eriksen leaving will mean we have Kane Alli Son Moura Lamela for the 3 front positions, so room for one more depending on how we view Lo Celso.

Its crazy, insane even.

I really think Poch needs some time away from football, most of the top managers take a sabbatical now and again. Poch has worked straight for what must be at least 10 years and these last few years with us managing very difficult circumstances have clearly taken there toll on him.

His press conferences, saying strange things and routinely being in an irritable mood along with these absurd team selections, formations and weird subs.

He needs some time away and I just hope that when we are hanging around 7th place by Christmas (which we will be if he persists with this formation) that he does the honourable thing and resigns, because I dont see Daniel seeing like we do how the formation is fundamentally undermining our performance on the pitch.

That or OGS gets sacked and man utd pay the £32m.

Where would Ndombele be playing in that case?

I wonder whether this daft diamond results from him thinking he can't leave out Kane, Son, Sissoko, Ndombele and Winks, and then trying to come up with a formation to get them in?Those 5 almost alwasy start when fit and available

Which front 3 positions? Two strikers and one in behind at the tip of the diamond?

I honestly can't believe we play a fudging diamond!? After all these years of being a decent side with solid tactics, we're back to something as daft as the Hoddle 3 basketball players at the back nonsense.

Son and Moura are strikers in this squad now, it’s Eriksen, Alli, Lamela and Lo Celso competing for one spot, 3 into one don’t go never mind 4.
 
After what we put this team through on Saturday, is it wise to start them? I mean surely they've got to be knackered after that.

Well like i say eriksen is leaving so not a concern and I'd wager it'll be a deeper position for Lo Celso alongside Ndombele.

Moura is a bit one dimensional imo and whilst he scores important goals he would be easy to replace if he got the arse with his situation here - i don't see him as more than backup anyway

What’s scaring me most about Poch is he keeps talking about being strong and sticking to our philosophy and rebuilding, I think this diamond and slow turgid sideways passing is what he is talking about, of course if he went to Man Utd, ironically of you look at the profile of their squad I think he will go in there play 4231 and a high pressing game.
 
I'm ill, struggled out of bed to get to stadium, dad is I'll and couldn't make it.
