Lamela - tinkle-poor, always has been in my opinion. Shows occasional glimpses, but is ultimately not suited to us.
Winks - Doesn't have the creativity we need. Slows play down.
Sanchez - Shouldn't be playing as left sided CB. In my opinion not yet good enough to be replacing Jan.
KWP - Offers very little going forward, not great defending. A new RB should have been a priority signing.

I'd like to see us playing some fluent attacking football, but we seem some way off of that at the moment. AVB spent ages trying to find his best team - and I'm not sure that he ever dd. It feels as if we are back to a manager not knowing what his best team is, or what system he really wants to play. And maybe he doesn't have the players.

Also slightly nervous to see Mourinho in the stands. Hope the club isn't succession planning.

Lamela reminds me a bit of Mahrez at City, wants to dribble, doesn't fit in with the team ethos.

Tbh I am struggling to recall many decent league performances in 2019. These performances seem to have been a pattern since the start of the year. The Palace match was decent fuelled by the new stadium opening bounce, possibly Huddersfield 4-0.

Is it too much to ask for our metronome to produce just one incisive pass in 45 minutes. And he will soon be substituted because he is simply ineffective.
