We looked so much better under Poch’s first two seasons, playing really good football, defensively solid, high tempo, good pressing, even if we didn’t maintain it over 90 minutes.

Nowadays not so much.

I agree. We had a real hunger in the team those days. Today- not so much.
 
In these kind of games, Winks and Sissoko are a waste of space. Winks is too static, and doesn't take advantage of the pockets of space between the lines.
Sissoko doesn't have the technical ability to play how we need to be playing.

People have moaned in the opening months of every season under Poch.
 
Problem today is we’ve gone in with the team we should play when teams attack us, speed on the break.

Moura and Son do not want to sit on a deep defense.

Eriksen is the most important player in these types of games, as the Villa game showed. Shocked Poch has gone in like he has.
