Moussa Sissoko

I think we played Chelski off the pitch for 25 minutes. I trust you're not attempting to say that was us playing on the break? We pressed them high and hard. Yes, they tried to play football, but we prevented them from doing so and everyone did their bit in that first 20-25. I think we lost a bit in the second-half as we knew we had the job done and simply needed to manage the game/not over-tire ourselves. I guarantee Arsenal will try to do the same next week. I would be shocked if they put men behind the ball and invite us on.

This conversation can never resemble Parker convos. Sissoko has already done more for us than Parker ever did (unless a turn, run and pirouette in your own back third of the field when you simply need one more goal to beat the division's worst team away in order to qualify for CL counts...we both know "that" moment, I sadly witnessed it!)...
I think it would be a stretch to suggest that Sissoko was a part of the passing game we played. He did well tackling and handing it off to the passers - imagine what we could do with Winks there tackling and passing.

His performances are only valuable as a last ditch backup. If Winks or Dembele were fit, they could do everything Sissoko is doing plus all the good stuff midfielders are supposed to be able to do.
This is just classic fluffy comments without real substance to try and negate from simply saying he’s an asset to the squad. Always fit something that most of our CMs aren’t and relied upon to do the job Poch asks him to....

Winks doesn’t have the capacity to cover the ground and make the tackles Sissoko does and not should he be. If he was getting around the pitch destroying as Sissoko was it would negate from the things Winks is really good at. Sissoko is now giving others the platform to do what they do best....

Winks hasn't done anything this season to warrant starting ahead of Sissoko, on a general basis. In certain games/stages of games, yes, but on the whole, Sissoko has been excellent, and better than Winks.

He was totally part of our passing game.
The other players have also started passing to him without a seconds thought, whereas before it was noticeable that they would go to pass, realise it was Sissoko, and look for another option.
When we bought Sissoko, he was laughably bad at times. Watch yesterday's game again, and you'd be hard pushed to find fault. This game has been coming as his confidence grows.

I really think you need to watch Winks play more. He can do everything Sissoko can and much, much more.

He might not be sold.
Which is the biggest compliment I could pay him?
He was excellent yesterday and he never stopped running

Winksy is not as strong and is not quite as rapid.
Winksy is far better in passing, but he is a totally different footballing tool.
Sissi is far more useful where strength and power are required and has been worth his place over the past few months no matter how much we want to dismiss it.

Every player performed yesterday including Sissoko.

He has been consistently one of our better players over the last month and it's nice to hear the crowd backing him now. You can see the new confidence he has found and it's lifting his game, long may it continue.

It’s made a huge difference
Players suffer confidence dips
Imagine being sissoko joining the biggest club of his career and starting out as a bit part player.... then seeing his team mates being technically excellent and knowing he needs to work harder
Then you have the fans abusing every error and calling you out every chance... you can’t win
I still know people that won’t say he played well yesterday, and would rather day the he looked better as the “team” played well

Sissoko's is improving and causing those who are capable to change their minds.
Football fans are not bright in the main remember.
