Great today, really wish he had played more this season, think we have a diamond right under our nose and considering how poor Aurier has been this season, we could have saved the money and got W-P up to speed, instead it has been a bit of a wasted season for the lad.

Funny season for him, he should be pleased with those performances, but also a little miffed that he’s not had more opportunities.

I’m hoping there is a lot more to come from Aurier, but I’m excited about KWP too, we should have RB sorted for while with Trippier being so solid too.

Not good enough for what? He's been the main right back for a team that finished 3rd, and has more assists than any other defender this season.

Partly a flippant answer but if I look at our starting 11, or best 18 man match-day squad, or even 22 man squad, to me he's one of the weakest. Kane and Dembele back-ups are higher priority for improving, but after that I would have Trippier and Lamela.

I dont think he's awful however we dont get natural width from our attackers so having full-backs which stretch the opposition wide and ahve the pace and natural game to go beyond them is important, partly because it creates more space centrally.
