*OMT* Tottenham Hotspur vs Leceister

One final trip. Dont think I will miss Wembley.
Good luck Paxo

A couple of weeks ago I drove up to Liverpool and it took ages / was boring, full of traffic and speed cameras... and right near Liverpool I saw a sign for Warrington and thought of you making all these trips up and down the country. You must be mad!

I might be the only one, but I’ve really enjoyed the season at Wembley.

I’ve been to way more games this season than normal as it’s so much easier to get to and home from after, especially the evening ko’s.

Well this season has been, and will be, my only season as a season ticket holder. I’ve been to way more matches than I’ve ever been to before - 20 ‘home’matches in all competition (15 league, 4 CL, 1 FA Cup Semi). I’ve seen us play at Wembley multiple times. Yes, I’ve enjoyed this season.

One final trip. Dont think I will miss Wembley. Still cant believe we made the Top 4, possibly 3rd, playing there a full season. Great achievement, which wont really be appreciated by anybody outside of the club and it's fans until it's Chelsea turn to play there and see how they fare in their first season there.
When they struggle, somebody might think, crikey Spurs actually did really well when they spent a season away...I wont hold my breath though.

Hoping tomorrow we see the shackles off and a performance similar to the hammering they gave Leicester at the end of last season

I'm certain I won't. No more M/C round the North Circ to Dollis Hill and two stops on the Jubilee Line = OK by me.

Didn’t realise Paxton was up there. That’s a long way to go just to leave at half time. I couldn’t do that.

It's defo just you, I reckon I've missed half of our games this season due to it being a total fricken nightmare to get to

I can't wait to go home !!!

Gazza has been tweeting he is going to Wembley to watch us today.
Paul Coyte has tweeted to say " please don't miss half time, you won't regret it".

2+2?

We’re obviously at opposite ends of the scale for the transport options. I do think it highlights how limited the options for WHL are though, Wembley is on 4 different rail routes (fair point, none of them service you), whereas WHL is only really on one.

I’ve also enjoyed the much wider range of food available in the stadium, hopefully we have similar from next season too.

Yeh it's always going to suit some people better than other's

WHL does have a train line from LST to WHL, one from LST to Northumberland Park/Tottenham Hale and also one from Stratford to Northumberland Park/Tottenham Hale

Plus the tube line as well so it's not that badly supported if all those routes are not affected by engineering works

Having had almost 3 seasons of works at NUM/Tot Hale and WHL I can't for one minute thin that this won't happen again this season even though NR/GA have made promises to Spurs, if this happens it will be an absolute joke getting too and from games

Must admit I had a burger at Spurs the other night and it wasn’t that bad, slightly enjoyable. But I’m with Marky on this it has been such a ball ache but that’s because we are Essex way. A Saturday 3pm game you need to really leave at around 11am via train and you’re back well after 7 possibly even closer to 8 for me. Definitely 8 hours day for me which is pretty much the whole day wiped out. Evening games you are lucky to get in before midnight.

Once back at WHL it’s going to be back to an hour there jobby hour back, but could be slightly longer now due to the extra 20,000 or so fans going causing more traffic but it’s going to be 100x more enjoyable.

Plus it’s going to help us all when we go to Wembley for a semi or final as the novelty for me wore off this year (not that I could make the semi anyway but you get my point).

Only WHL is that close though really, if you are with kids or OAP’s it rules out the others.

It’s not always open but there is an Indian take away that does chicken curry kebabs wraps, they are amazing.

.

There will be the option of staying in the new massive bar in the south stand after games
They said there will be DJs, bands and they will show other games plus all that money will be going back into the club too

and especially with having a young family, being out for 7-8 hours doesn't always go down well with the mrs and if I'm honest I want to spend my weekends with them all as well

Big rush today to get to the game, got to leave now to take my son and grandson to his kids game and then straight to Wembley after that match, takes me back to my youth when I did the same thing but lived a lot closer to WHL, looking for two wins.
