No Spurs v West Brom omt yet? Can this be it?

And surely the job of the manager is to make sure this sort of thing doesn’t happen ?

There's only so much that you can do at this stage of the season. Most managers will be taking it one game at a time and hoping for the best. It's not as if we are the only club having dodgy results.

Klopp is seriously good, though. Always has been. And has the trophies (and titles) to show for it.

That doesn't detract from Poch's work. Well, not entirely, although if Liverpool do end up winning the CL, questions will be asked, and rightfully so.

Klopp is one of the elite managers. Poch isnt at that level yet. He is one of the best of the rest.

It was always going to be so!

I find it hard to fault Pochettino. This malaise is down to human nature. The players know they are in a decent position for top four and also have an eye on the World Cup.

But on a day like today, when the emotional temperature gets very heated, when elbows and knees have left bumps and bruises, you'd think they'd rise up enough to win more of the one-on-one battles, impose the superior talent they possess and get a win.

Christ, I'm feeling more and more like an upset gooner.

And the FA Cup semi-final? The Juventus game?

It’s becoming a pattern, I’m afraid.

Liverpool have done a lot better on not much more. I honestly don’t think he’ll be here in August. Something is not right.

What a bunch of spineless bottlers.
The scary thing is that it was so fudging predictable.
We need some fresh additions to the team.

It used to be a bit of a joke, but it really is true.

When a manager is rumoured to two games to save his job, the manager would ask, can one be Tottenham at home. Because it really is true, if a team really needs a win, more often than that we oblige..

Yip, not that much in the great scheme of things. I’m sure we could post how much Leicester paid out in their Premiership winning season.

Stats cover so much at the end of the day. Is our squad worse than Utd’s? I’d argue no and yet they’re in a cup final.

If we manage to fudge this up it will eclipse the collapse under Harry imo, I know it was a few more points but the squad wasn’t half as good and it was actually a decent side chasing us down.

Overall I don't think it was that bad - it's very very difficult to break down an ultra defensive team who are experts at being exactly that.

We turned up today imo, which we didn't against Emirates Marketing Project, Brighton and possibly Watford too.

What is incredibly frustrating is Poch's refusal to use Lucas more - for me it's starting to get out of hand. It is ridiculous. He should have started or at least come on much much earlier.

We need an explanation as to why he refuses to use him more.

Son should not play again this season. He has not turned up for weeks now and imo he is saving himself for the World Cup - do not play him again in these final two games.

And lastly the defending for that corner was absolutely disgraceful - fine every player involved in that set piece.

Blimey, no offence Ajax but when your post is one of the more reasonable, we are indeed in meltdown.

Wow! Knew today would be tough but I expected us to narrowly win or get a draw at the very least. Did not see us losing.

Regardless of what Chelsea do tomorrow we still have two very winnable games against teams who have been in Barbados and have mentally checked out weeks ago.

If we can’t get 6 points from the last two games then we literally have NO excuses and people will be right to call us bottlers.

Let there be no mistake, I love Poch, but I’ve a gut feeling he’s reached his Peak Spurs. Performances of late suggest it’s too cosy. My feeling is he’s taken it as far as he can and possibly as far as he wants to.

I think we need a proven nasty winner and there are definitely some out there who would come, imo.

Shoot me down! :D:D

I'm just getting that feeling of 2 seasons ago. 1 point needed from 2 games to finish 2nd place and above Arsenal and we phucked them both up (who can ever forget Saudi Sportswashing Machine away, made Sissoko look like Ronaldo).

I keep expecting us to step it up a bit, but we haven't. We're gonna have to just fall over the line.

Hope WBA go down though, it's a bad fixture for us.

Finger crossed we won't mess this up. We shouldn't do, but for the first time this season, I have a nagging feeling that we might.
