*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur vs. Brighton ***

Cannot believe the ref blew up at 93:07, after wasting at least a minute of injury time himself. fudging stupid clam. Farcical.

It's not like we would've created anything anyway. Not decisiveness and penetration today, no one even daring to take a shot. Put Llorente on and not even lump it into him in the box, when that's how he scores goals, doesn't make sense.
Oh, well, fudge it. Poor game and poor result, but we'll rise again. Midfield didn't really work today.

Not convinced that was a penalty. IMHO we shot ourselves in the foot bringing back Kane. If we can face and beat Chelsea why play in this half. He was dire.

It’s one of those, similar to Hugo on Saturday, if it looks like a penalty the ref might give it, don’t make the mistake in the first place, don’t give them a decision to make.

Up the other end, do your job and a dodgy one against won’t stop us winning anyway.

The ref was poor, but we were fudging brick.

We would have coasted that if Aurier could defend without being the wrong side of his man so many times. I thought it was a bit of a dive, but he is in such a bad position, it's just begging the player to go down and get a penalty.

Aurier is a decent footballer, but a poor defender. Just write him off as a bad bit of business and move on, we can't have him starting games at right-back when his defending is such a liability. He undone us tonight, because I am convinced we would have gone on to win that game had we re-established some control after scoring the first goal.

Llorente did some crucial defensive work.

On the plus side, great to see Toby back. Him and Vertonghen were without a doubt our best and only decent players tonight. Hopefully the club can come to an agreement about his contract and he will stay.

I really miss the days of Rose and Walker in their pomp. The four we have now are not a patch on them, present day Rose included.

You are too kind. There is nothing good about Aurier. Knew it from the start. Laughable that people were happy to sell walker and get this idiot in.

Brighton have lost only four games at home this season, bit of perspective guys... If Poch didn't rest players and we lose on the weekend, he'd be smashed for that. Some fans must complain.

Good points! I think it was the right decision by Poch to rest a few key players, but was only disappointed to see our lack of desire and ability in the final third. We just lacked some of the ooomph we've had in a long string of games now. I'm hopeful we'll see it again on Saturday.

Even Redknapp and Souness called him a liabilty 'acccident waiting to happen'. If I was an oppostion manager I would target him

Indeed.

I was not expecting a stroll in the park, but was hoping to see a bit more than what we saw tonight

And If the players can't get 'up' for a Cup semi-final v Manchester United then they shouldn't be at the club

We simply have to. So many of our players having talked about their desire to win a trophy this season, namely the FA Cup. I want to see blood, sweat and tears out there on Saturday, win at all costs. Desire and hard work, if we can put that in, the rest will follow.
