but didnt he say after the chelsea game where we played 3 in the middle that he really likes the formation or something along those lines?

Well it looks like Parker will be fit for Sunday, will be interesting to see if Redknapp changes a winning side to get his favourite into the team.

Yeah, nothing wrong with that either. He shouldn't change it now though.

surely Sandra's told 'Arry by now playing with 3 cm's and Bale/Ade/VdV up top doesn't score enough goals.

I mean every fan, media outlet, journo, blind person has seen this.

the usual 4-5-1* please

As both Sandro threads are locked (yes I did post in it :( )

Enjoyed that - quite a masterclass.

I've mentioned it in the match thread - reminds me of Vieira. Who did the goons have next to him when they were the invincibles? Was it Petit?

Watching him play, I often get the impression he want to be more offensive but then drops back (maybe it's discipline - maybe Arry wants him to stay back?). At least he knows how to shoot and that is something we need to utilise.

Thought the penalty was very very clever. Villa were diving into challenges and I think he read it and gave the ball an extra touch before going down.

Well done that lad

I think my opinion on Parker's footballing ability has been vindicated. We play so much better with Sandro in the side as he seems to understand the concept of allowing the attackers to do their work whilst also contributing in a positive manner. Parker has a sever case of tunnel vision and doesn't seem to be able to see the big picture; he tends to play as an individual, not saying he isn't a team player, but in an attacking sense and when we have the ball he is too unaware of the game. Sandro for me has always eclipsed Parker.

Sandro is much superior than Parker in attack,I was livid when I saw Parker doing his fudging turns with the ball once he came on.Having said that,I still think Parker is a bit better defensively at the moment

Sandro has put in 3 worthy man of the match performances in his last 3 starts, reminiscent of Parker earlier in the season with every performance!

I still feel that Sandro is a far better player and he is going to be even better next season, but please Redknapp do not play both him and Parker in the middle.

Sandro is just a beast, has a real burst of pace and power at times. Reminds me of Viera and Y Toure at times when he goes on those runs.

Parker with his fancy turns into nowhere really fudge me off.

As I'm not old enough to of seen him live or anything, from videos I have seen, is it just me that thinks Sandro reminds me of Socrates? just the way he runs

Oh dear. It's sad when you feel the need to put other players down to stick up for your favourites. Sandro was very good again today, our best player by quite a way.

I don't think so. He is the defensive rock in that side, and Villa were doing us with straight balls down the middle. The back four had little protection frm the midfield, and that was because of ill discipline. More than once Modric was in the final third and Sandro was BEYOND him or alongside him, rather than being where he should be.....which is sweeping up behind in case the attack breaks down.

Do people actually bother to look at the game on a proper level on this forum or do they only pay attention to players when they have the ball?!!
