So we had a stonewall pen denied, Kane and Aurier missed chances that were easier to score.. Could have been 4 or 5 on another day.

I don't care if they were 'injury ravaged.' You should go out there and try and win the game or at least try and participate in it.
As I mentioned earlier, it must suck huge roosters to be a Palace fan and have to pay to go and watch that week in-week out.

Hodgson is a dinosaur and an anti-football master. His philosophy doesn't belong in the modern game any longer, so yes I hope they go down.

And he worked so hard for that goal. Late in the match, tired, after numerous fruitless corners, he still had the strength and desire to work his way through the box and around a clinging defender to find some space and follow the ball all the way to put a directed head on it. Beautiful.
 
It's not so long ago in a game like that with 80-85 minutes gone we'd be panicking that we'd throw away a 0-0. Now at that time I still believe we will score.
The result was deserved against a team that did little other than stoically defend.
Not a particularly enjoyable watch but a dogged performance that got the job done. 3 huge points this weekend.
 
Glad we got a win in the end and a vital 3 points.

Eriksen was tinkle poor today.

Aurier adds nothing to the team at the moment but he did make a vital last ditch tackle.

Kane had abit of a mare today aswell.

Overall we were quite poor but a win is a win.
 
Not a good performance from us. Yes we missed some huge chances, but we didn't create enough. Several of our chances were gifted to us and our actual chance creation was below par. Poor ball tempo. We missed Vertonghen and Alderweireld on the ball, and an in form Winks could have been a difference maker.

That being said, deserved and important win. Great feeling to get the win like that and we improved in the second half when they tired.

Onwards and upwards.

My GHod man, how spoilt can you be?

Course its different that they're injury ravaged, they're already a crap squad, hence why they're fighting relegation. Half their squad is out injured ffs.

They gave as good as they got in the Wembley match with a full squad. What exactly were you expecting them to do today?
 
What a tame, limp, slow, stodgy display.
A few times we actually put a move together and got through, but Palace were literally just giving us the ball for "attack vs defence" and we were going sideways slowly and not penetrating... sheesh. Time to be brave and actually drive into the box and make something happen??? No, just walk about and tap it backwards, work it forwards so you can work it back again.

Kane and Eriksen awful, most poor, Aurier unbelievably bad, just terrible.

Another game when playing 2 DMs is not the answer.

Son/Lucus changed that by trying to push forward.
 
Didnt watch the game, went out for lunch with the family.

Reading the reaction here though, was it exactly as predictable as I imagine it was?

Dominating but not making it count? Making hard work when we should have put it away?
