***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Juventus***

3 absolute personal brainfarts from our defence. Especially the Aurier one. Sometimes when I think about his performances I get the idea that this guy will never learn from his mistakes. Even from a great manager as Poch is.

We played better 1st half than against Pool or Arsenal but could have been 2 goals down easily.

Poch needs a strong half-time talk and should calm down some players especially Aurier, Davies and Sanchez.

I get the feeling Serge is a player that needs to play every week or his game goes to bits.

The best we’ve seen of his is when he played a few in a row

Well, defensively, that first half went about as bad as it could go. We look like conceding if they apply the slightest pressure. Dier and the fullbacks have been a waste of space in the defensive part of their play.

BUT

In possession, we look great, we have bossed the ball and created good chances in open play. 2-1 wouldn't be a terrible result, but how we are defending, we are certain to let in more goals. So we need to just stay on the attack and take our chances when they come, we could certainly get a draw here.

I'd get Rose on for Davies, as he's been booked and they will target that once the manager has a word with his players at half-time. I'd be tempted to get Wanyama on for Aurier and move Dier to right-back, but I don't think Poch would do that.

Before the game, I'd have probably taken 2-1 as a half-time score. On the balance of play, we deserve to be level I think (great in attack, crap in defence).

Wow talk about emotional roller coaster. Worked so hard to get back into the match for a moment of madness from Aurier to nearly undo it all.

We can beat this team, just need to keep tighter at the back.

Ridiculous half of football.

So proud of our lads. To go behind like that and play as well as we did is massively impressive. Decent result at this point, keep playing as we have and I think we'll most likely be fine.

68% possession away to Juventus. We're right in this and as long as we dont lose by 2, the tie will be very even for the 2nd leg. Got to believe that we can get a 2nd - just need to take our chances

Davies was one of those that responded really well. Should have done better for the pen, but one of those that happens... didn't let that get him down, played really well for the rest of the half.

Aurier... remains second choice to Trippier in my mind.
