***OMT: Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool***

Im not even sure Lamela went down too easily - one of the angles show VVD kicking him full whack in the back of the leg - that's gonna hurt...

He clearly throws himself at Van Dijk who was just trying to get away from the situation. That's what they say on RAWK and you can't not believe them.

Very much a game of two halves. We looked a bit lost in the first half and absolutely bossing things in the second. Overall I think a draw is fair enough. Tough I think we edged it slightly by being more dominant in the second than they were in the first.

We have to learn from that first half. But the second half shows how far we've come. Though I'm sure Liverpool will look at their defending and approach in the second half and find many flaws. Or at least some fans will, others will just scream about the ref.
The Dippers were lucky to hold onto 3pts against Emirates Marketing Project and once again ran out of steam today. But for Dier’s mistake we probably could’ve weathered their early blitzkrieg and won the game in 2nd half.

You do realise Wanyama is going to try that every week now....

He has been doing this in most matches lately. he came on late against southampton, but a shot into the stands form 30 years instead of passing wide. he is not afraid to take responsibility and shoot, unlike other "DM"'s we have.

It is not the first time he scores a goal like this :)

He won’t score a goal like that again as it’s coming towards him and whilst it’s fudging harder and one in a 100 it’s easier to get more power with a ball bouncing towards you if you hit it cleaner and perfect, which he probs won’t ever do again!

Well done Spurs. Second half showed some real bottle in the end, but absolutely gutted to not come away with 3 points. I would have been confident of finishing second had we done that!

Anyway, well done ref and linesman. Excellent calls and some real steel shown in front of the kop

But also he got it slightly on the outside of his ball so it curved from out to in the top corner so sweetly.

Refused to be invovled in this thread after the early goal.. Having read some of it back, it was the correct decision.

90% utterly embarrassing hyperbole. Some of you dare ask the players to show bottle!? Where's yours? I saw only mass hysteria from the usual suspects lurking in the shadows.

This is a well earned and valuable point. It probably could have been 3, but so be it. Let's just make sure we smash the Goons next week.

So I just watched the highlights and frankly can't understand the fuss about the penalties. They were both undisputable from the replays (Kane was offside for the first though, but the foul from Karius was clear enough). Two very good and brave decisions from the ref (excluding again the offside) - especially the last one, which couldn't have been easy to spot in real time.

I can understand Pool frustration from the offside on the first not given, but it doesn't really matter when Kane blew it, does it. tinkle poor penalty, BTW.

Very good result in the end. And the manner of it must be a great morale booster for us and hopefully the opposite for them. Important point for us in what was a very difficult weekend.

Biggest game of the season so far. I think we'll beat them.

Beat Arsenal next and come away from 3 tricky games with 7 points and I think that leaves us well positioned to get a Champions League place.
Chelsea appear to be in self-destruct mode and Victimpool are worse at defending than I thought.

We're in a pretty good place chasing them down I'd say.
